Pool could have had a few more lie-down sunbeds. There were only 2! We sat on chairs or laid our towels out on the floor.

“Solid choice for short stay”
This place was so much better than I expected from the reviews. It felt like a Mexican Holiday Inn - not fancy but very clean, comfortable bed, and English speaking reception staff. 10 minutes flat walk to the ferry to Belize. Restaurant food and service also good.

“Disgusting attitude of staff, comfy beds and location but that’s about it”
To be clear, I gave the property the opportunity to respond to my feedback before writing this review as I always like to be fair when providing feedback. As they haven’t resolved this I am unfortunately leaving this review as I felt it was important for other customers to be informed. The hotel is in a good location for accessing the ferry terminal. The beds are very comfortable. That is probably about it in terms of positives.

Unexpectedly stayed here due to booking the wrong ferry but everything was fab. Watched a lovely sunset from the roof. Room was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to shops and marina.

“Very comfortable stay”
Very helpful staff who looked after our bags when we arrived early to check in and instantly arranged for a very good value taxi the next morning to take us to the Ado station. Hotel was good value for money, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! I used the gym which has running machines and weights. You can easily walk to the pier and the main streets of Chetumal. View from pool was lovely.

“Don't take this hotel for the free airport shuttle”
The bedrooms are similar to what you can expect from the Fiesta Inn brand It was okay for one night. We could walk around Chetumal from the hotel, the city does not seem to have a lot of attractions and a lot of buildings seem abandoned but we still felt relatively safe walking around after sunset (except for dogs, but still we managed) I think the pool is very nice at sunset even if we did not stay long cause we wanted to visit the city

“A great place to stay near the water taxi terminal”
Fiesta Inn looks like a good brand in Mexico. I saw one of the hotels in Playa del Carmen as well. It was highly recommended by a colleague who travels a lot to Chetumal. I felt safe there. The facility and room were clean and modern. The staff was so helpful. We were given a ride to the Port Authority in Chetumal to catch the water taxi to Belize.
