“Super”
We loved it here and wished we had booked more than a one night stay. Great value for money. The room had everything we required and more. Exceptionally clean. The bed was really comfortable and shower great. We were provided with disposable plates & cutlery which we used for breakfast but we ate out for the one night we stayed at Le Gabriel recommended by our lovely host Michelle as we wanted to experience a local musical evening. We weren’t disappointed. The food was good and entertainment excellent. Michelle told us about a lovely walk to the old gypsum mine which was very beautiful.

Great location, close to Cheticamp town area. The room itself had all of the amenities needed for a great stay and was very clean. The bed was also very comfortable! I would definitely come back and stay here again, next time i visit Cape Breton Island

Though the location isn't right in town, it's lovely and quiet and the stars are amazing. Our host was a joy to deal with and the suite immaculate, well appointed and so comfortable. The bath after a long day of hiking and exploring was just what I needed.

“Great place with an outstanding host!”
Michelle is one outstanding host, I cannot say any less. Caring, funny, she will make you feel at home. Do not pass by without staying here in Cheticamp. We were on our motorcycles and it rained during the night. The next morning Michelle had brought some towels on our motorcycles to wipe them down, now this is 5 star service. Easy to book, convenient location, close to the town centre, good “sunset” view, extremely friendly staff, the room had all the basic necessities + more!! It was truly a “home away from home”!!! :)
