“Lovely house and terrace with beautiful view of Cheronissos bay”

Nicely decorated, comfortable and authentic house with a beautiful view from the terrace of the bay and the sea. We spent a lot of time there in between beach visits, enjoying the breeze, the tranquility and the views. Close proximity to water (via stairs/paved trail). Well equipped kitchen, nicely decorated rooms and bathrooms plus good WiFi. Cinzia is a great and welcoming host, she met us upon arrival and made sure that we were comfortable and knew how to reach out to her if needed.

“Property owner did not fulfill agreement. Bad business.”

Unfortunately, the property owners did not honor Booking.com reservation I made through the web. The reservation was accepted in the Booking.com but I subsequently received an email response from property owner stating that the reservation was rejected and canceled due to overbooking and that the cost was substantially higher than what the Booking.com reservation agreement. Thus, the service was never rendered because of the property owner canceling the reservation, however, my credit card was fully charged as if I had stayed. I considered this a very unprofessional and bad business, particularly since this not only caused me to significantly change my holiday plans but also now stuck with having to fight through the dispute process of having my credit card drop the charge.

We loved everything about our stay! The location is great, in the cute village of Cheronissos, the view from the terrace is amazing, the flat is cosy and has everything, and Sifnos is beautiful. The hosts Cinzia and Pietro are also very nice. Totally recommend!

Extremely well equipped (kitchen in particular feels like home), comfortable and beautifully decorated little house with fantastic sea view. The owners are very responsive and professional in order to make your stay unforgettable. We had an issue with bathroom that was handled immediately and with care. Definitely a high quality service. “An idyllic stay in a miniature paradise.”

The hosts met us at the port and gave us an instructive tour of Sifnos including supermarkets etc., The accommodation was atop a hill in Heronissos directly overlooking the beautiful inlet and beach. Cynthia and Pietro are both Genoese Italians and the apartment is stylishly decorated and equipped to the highest degree. The shower is spacious and ever-hot. The balcony is part shaded at different times of day and is airy. There is a hypnotic tranquillity to doing little and taking an hour to read a paragraph while being on nodding terms with the odd passing bird at eye-level. There are two good taverna within a five minute walk (ten coming back uphill). The nearest supermarket is nearly ten kilometres away so a little forward planning and a vehicle is essential. The effort is worth it to fully appreciate a lifestyle that is now sadly disappearing, absolutely memorable. Thanks for all your help and input.
