“My worst nightmare come true”

My number one fear with a room rental is that there will be a problem with check in. This happened, in the worst way possible. After confirming our arrival time DAYS before our arrival…and again when we had landed on the island, we received no response. It’s important to note this accommodation is VERY isolated. We made our way and arrived at 8:30pm, tired after a full days travel. My mother is 66. The entire building was dark. We tried calling the number provided. Nothing. Emailed again. Nothing. We waited for TWO hours, until 10:30pm with no answer and nowhere else to go. It was very scary. Eventually, with no other option, we went upstairs into the building and found a key in the door of one of the rooms upstairs and went in, to have a place to sleep. No hot water for showering. No drinkable water. The small “shop” advertised downstairs for everything we would need…very very closed. I don’t know if they weren’t expecting guests or something?? but if you are taking the responsibility of hosting people over night, it’s not something to be taken lightly. The next day they finally arrived and asked if everything was okay in the room, no apologies were offered. They said they had tried to send a message about how to get in the room…nothing was ever received. They turned on the water boiler so we could finally shower. I’m not sure the host stood the severity of how scared we felt. I hope they take future check ins more seriously. 😢

“It was a unique experience!”

Its position was on the beach and opposite the only shop. Restaurants next door. Katerina was so helpful and friendly. A wonderful lady.

Maria is the most wonderful host and made us feel so welcome. Her studios are perfect, humble, homely rooms in the most jaw dropping location. Would return in a heartbeat.

“A little gem in the north of Siofnos!”

Great spot.. 2 steps from beach, great view, superb host. Katarina wasp so warm. Room is simple enough but everything you need and big bathroom. We loved it and would return.

Me and my partner loved our stay here, best location above the mini mart and best balcony view we wish we stayed longer!! The owner was so extremely lovely and truely made the experience amazing for us. Thankyou!

Perfectly located in a small fishing village with locals living there and two tavernas. The host was lovely and so generous always making sure she gave us a biscuit with our coffees and always saying hello.

Very lovely stay, sweetest ladies who run the place, very clean and beautiful Greek curtains, woodwork etc in the room. Best location for swimming and relaxing on the balcony.

“Lovely stay in peaceful Cheronissos bay”

Lovely stay in Cheronissos. The room was spotless and spacious, with a traditional old Sifnian home style. The view of the bay from the top room is impeccable (photo attached). If you're looking for a peaceful stay in Sifnos, look no further! The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and they also have a little store below the rooms for any essentials you may need, which was handy for us.

“magic”

Katherina was the best host and Cherronissos is the most magical place ever, beautiful and calm, it was hard for us to leave. there are two tavernas, mini market and peaceful beach, everything we needed in one place. our studio was a house right on the beach, great for the kids to fully enjoy the beach and the sea.

“Not to miss in Cherronisos”

First of all comes the exceptionally friendly attitude of Katerina and Maria! Always smiling, they welcomed us with refreshing drinks and in the next days brought us cookies and coffee. Secondly, this place is unique in at least two ways: the location on the beach and the old charm of the house. Moreover the two ladies run the minimarket on the ground floor, where one can find something in case of running out of food or drinks. Lastly, Heronissos is a fantastic place to live in peace and relaxation, at least in the end of September.

Location was very good. From your appartement direct in the sea. Not needed to sit on the beach. Chatharina was very frendly.

“Everything was perfect!”

A lovely and well equipped studio amazingly located, just above a little bay, a few steps from the sea. Perfect for a short stay (and not so short as you will want to extend your days there), and for a peaceful retreat. You will find anything you need, from a mini market to two restaurants. The hostess is charming and really nice. Despite a possible language barrier, she will do everything to accommodate you and make your stay there memorable! You will definitely enjoy the coffee offered for breakfast while looking at the sea :)
