“We had a wonderful time!”
The communication with the hosts was excellent. They were very kind and flexible. The breakfast was wonderful, with local ingredients and marigold tea from the garden. The bathroom was very modern with a great shower. The place was the perfect combination of traditional living (sleeping on a thin mattress with traditional bedding) and modern amenities - underfloor heating, wifi, good bathroom facilities.

“Great time, lovely place and owners, will be coming back again for sure.”
The traditional rooms were lovely, especially the beds, it was a great experience. The location was fantastic, and the quiet atmosphere really helped us feel like we were on a camping trip. The owners were really friendly and welcoming. Offered us fantastic breakfast and homemade tea and helped us out with transport the next day, they looked up bus times for us and even drove us to the bus stop. Next time we will definitely stay for much much longer there.

The hosts were lovely. They served us a hearty and delicious breakfast and gave us great recommendations for our trip. They have a very beautiful house and garden and didn't leave out any occasion to serve us local apple juice.

“A stunning and extremely comfortable hanok experience”
The property is surrounded by mountains and within a small picturesque town of traditional Korean houses. There are several Hanoks of cultural significance and an excellent cafe. The pension (a beautiful hanok itself) is on a property covered by flowers and vegetable gardens. There were even kittens playing in the flowers. The room is comfortable and has air conditioning/heating. You can lie down and look at the mountains. Both the room and the attached bathroom were spotlessly clean, and cleaned again on our second day whilst we were out. The hosts are extremely hospitable and welcoming. They served us breakfast from their home grown products, booked restaurants for us, and we shared a beer and a sing along. Juwangsan National Park is 20 minutes away, a park with several beautiful waterfalls. Staying here really was a special experience.
