Great hotel for a great price. The area was quieter, but still not many metro-stops from central Chengdu.

We appreciate the spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel was also very quiet, which was perfect for us to relax after a long journey. The breakfast was Asian, but tasty. I also appreciate the helpfulness of the gentleman at the reception, who helped us get a birthday cake for our colleague. Thumbs up.

My second stay to this property. Everything was expected, staff were really helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, I could not get their name but I would recommend the staff at the restaurant, nice, professional. Hotel offer a free self-service laundry (wash and dry) which it is very useful if you are travelling around China. For anyone wondering about the location, it is not in the centre but has 3 metro stations within a 15-20 minutes walk. Outside the South Railways Stations -Exit E (Metro line 1, 7, 19) there are few/old tuk tuk; try negotiate the cost because they want 20CNY for a 2 minutes drive to the hotel. However, as the hotel is next to the highway Didi/txis are a good alternative, from the Anshun Bridge to the Hotel I was charged 27CNY (taxi) and to the Panda Research site 65CYN (poor Didi's driver - took 2 diversions).

This is a good quality hotel with plenty of amenities, comfortable rooms and good service. We only stayed two nights but we found the room spacious and clean, and the breakfast quality and selection was excellent.

Breakfast was included in my accommodation, so that's a bonus (plenty of choices available). I ordered room service which was nice (I had wonton and chicken soup...nice clear broth and tender dumplings) and the person who took my order came to the room to do so due to communication issues...so that earned a brownie point. Bed comfy!

Staff members were absolutely incredible. They spent time trying to assist me in sorting out what was wrong with my phone E-Sim setup. Absolutely brilliant staff. Breakfast was good, offered both Chinese and English breakfast style. They had a laundry facility, which meant that I could wash some of my clothes. I highly recommend this hotel due to the staff members. I love them with all my heart and how they interacted with me. Those three ladies who helped me with my E-Sim phone set-up, you ladies are the real champions and real heroes.

Even though it is a 15 minute walk to South metro station, I still chose this hotel because of the good review and reasonable rate for a one night layover stay.
