Very, very beautiful surrounding, with amazing view. Also Ahmed is a very kind and sympathetic host and makes the best tajine of the world :). The hike from the farm to Jbel el Kelaa mountain peak was beautiful.

Wow what an experience. No road assess , it’s a 20 min trek/scramble up the mountain side, so travel light, wear good footwear, reasonable fitness is required. The accommodation is very basic, clean bed and toilet!! What else do you need ? Food was organic all home grown and cooked by Ahmed and it was the best tagine we have had since arriving in Morocco 3 weeks ago. It is an amazing insight to how people live up in the mountains. We felt very welcome and spend a fantastic day trekking up to the akchour waterfalls with Ahmed’s bother and friend . Who shared their picnic of bread ,fruit and nuts , all products of the farm . We loved it ,the best and most memorable two days of our holiday so far . But it’s not for everyone! No wifi and the only electricity is solar for limited lighting . If you don’t do very basic don’t go and if you do and expect more don’t write a bad review. Its how this lovely family live . Enjoy the peaceful , relaxing, taste of rural way of life

“Authentic mountain hideaway with the main man Ahmed.”

The most amazing and unique experience made so memorable by the host and his family. Me and boyfriend were welcomed with open arms, fresh mint tea, fresh figs and grapes from the farm, and not to mention the best Tajine we have tried in Morocco…. Or Ever! Ahmed is charismatic and warm, even though there was a language barrier we still had great laugh with him. We learnt so much about his farm, and we’re truly blown away by the fact he has built everything himself. His son Ayman and his nephew Mohammed provided great conversation and entertainment during our stay, what a great trio they were. There was a great balance between hosting and allowing you to have your own space and relax, it was a true enlightenment to an authentic rural Moroccan family and way of life. We ate, read, relaxed, explored the farm and watched the sunset from some amazing spots. Ayman also does great tours/hikes to the akchour waterfalls.

It was an excellent experience. Great food, great company, Si ahmed was more of a friend than a hoster. I genuinely loved everything about the place, and I highly recommend it for everyone.

Lovely location! Kind hosts and good food. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to experience a true retreat to nature!

“A unique experience albeit a little rough and ready.”

It was a steep and rough 30 minute climb to get there but, wow, it was worth it just to hear the silence and listen to the birds sing whilst shelling peas and beans and throwing the pods over the fence to feed the rabbits. The location is wonderful (literally the summit) and Aymans dad (we didn't get his name) is a master of the tagine using only freshly picked produce from the garden.
