“A Riad All To Ourselves”

For some reason, we had not expected to get the whole riad to ourselves, but indeed, that's what we booked. And what a treat! Quiet, very private, clean and so well furnished. The manager was super helpful and kind. A great breakfast on the terrace and a lovely view from the roof. Everything went so well and we enjoyed every minute of our stay here.

It was a privilege to stay. The cultural and social history of the house is fascinating.

The property was beautifully restored and very traditional. It was spacious and had a relaxing atmosphere. It was nicely tucked away in a quiet but central part of Chefchauen. The host was very helpful and kind and helped us with organising onward transportation. The breakfast was traditional and very high quality food.

Everything and everything! I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world, but this experience was just so special. Mohammed is such a good host. The fireplace was unbelievable. Breakfast by the fireplace which was done for us was even more special. We cooked our dinner as we were tired of eating out . Just Beautiful

Breakfast at Lalla Ghayta was truly exceptional and one of the best we’ve had in Morocco. The presentation was beautiful — a colourful spread of fresh fruit, including mango, banana, mandarins and perfectly carved apples. We were served delicious traditional Moroccan items like baghrir (Moroccan pancakes) and a warm semolina cake, along with eggs, cheese, dates, and homemade jams. Everything was fresh, generous, and prepared with great care. The attention to detail and hospitality made our morning feel very special. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a true Moroccan breakfast experience.

Every detail in the home was well thought of - from the interiors to the hospitality of the wonderful Mohamed & Fatima - they truly went above and beyond. A total gem within the medina walls, truly felt like a slice of someone’s heritage home. Would love to come back again soon.

Muhammad and Fatima were excellent hosts. They looked after us really well, responded to our questions promptly and were very polite. They had an excellent breakfast prepared for us daily which was a treat. The place itself is beautiful and clean with a great accessible location.

We had a wonderful stay at Lalla Ghayta. The villa is full of history, beautifully preserved, and feels like it tells its own story. The neighbours were extremely friendly, and my children already miss Mohammed — our amazing host. He was always available, helped us with everything, and even arranged transport when needed. The people of Chefchaouen are truly loving, and I also want to thank the owner for keeping this special place so well cared for. There’s something pure about the apartment, a sense of peace as if Allah is watching over it. We had an absolutely wonderful 6-night stay! The room was not only comfortable but also incredibly stylish and thoughtfully designed — every detail was perfect. There was even a washing machine and a rooftop, which made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. We filmed a video for our YouTube channel here, and the interior was so beautiful that it truly inspired us. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and since we stayed for several days, they kindly varied the menu — such a thoughtful touch! The location is ideal, right in the heart of the old medina. The moment you step outside, you’re surrounded by the enchanting blue streets. It was so romantic and unforgettable.
