Overview
Hotel Tarek is located a 10-minute walk from the medina in Chefchaouen, and offers a furnished terrace with mountain views. A traditional Moroccan breakfast is served every morning and free Wi-Fi is provided. Offering a view of the mountains or the medina, the air-conditioned guest rooms include a TV and a telephone. “OK but nothing special.”

“Well run hotel with friendly staff outside of the Medina”
Well run hotel about 1 km from the Medina and touristic attractions. The rooms were clean and nice. The staff was amazingly friendly and provide great recommendations in perfect English.

“My Stay”
The hotel was a lovely Riad-styled building with a modern entrance. It appealed to me because it is my kind of aesthetic. The room itself was reasonably sized, with good cupboard space to take your stuff out of sight, and a good cooler and heater on the wall, which was a great feature of the room. It's location also was good if you want to be close to the old medina, but lots of going up and down hill, so make sure you wear the right shoes.

The staff were all really lovely, genuinely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We travelled across Spain and Morocco over 2 weeks and stayed in a range of hotels. This was by far the best and cost the least.
