We had a wonderful stay. The location and the terrace were wonderful and the breakfasts were delicious. The staff made it a very memorable and welcoming experience. In particular Zouhair took the time to give us lots of recommendations, show us around and tell us about his city.

I would definitely recommend this place to all travelers. The location is excellent. You need to walk a little because cars are not allowed to enter, but it is absolutely worth it. The property is set on a higher point with beautiful views, close to the center near shops and cafes, yet it feels calm and quiet. The building itself is very spacious, with two lovely terraces offering stunning views. There are large common areas with fireplaces, and they even lit the fireplace especially for me, which felt very thoughtful. My room was spacious, with a very large bathroom and a private exit to the garden. The staff , especially Zohair, were wonderful and very welcoming. He even met me at the bus station, which made my arrival easy and stress-free.

“A gem on the edge of the medina”
The location was excellent, just outside the Medina and accessible by taxi. Staff were so helpful and polite too. The room was perfect for us, more than enough space for the two of us, it was just a shame that the weather was so bad, otherwise we'd have breakfasted outside on the terrace. We used the heating, which was very useful, the bed was probably the most comfortable we've had in Morocco and with an added blanket from the cupboard, our two nights there were peaceful and comfy!

One of the most beautiful views in the city, especially at sunrise and sunset. Easy access to the upper part of town. Kind and caring staff, super attentive. Spacious and comfortable rooms. A truly amazing experience in Morocco.

“Amazing host, you get a hostel and your guide on one.”
The host, Zuhair, was incredible. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. When he found out we were English football fans he took us that evening to a place we could watch the game. He showed us where to get local food and walked us to the local shop when we needed something. A real gem of a person!! The riad is lovely, small with a few rooms which meant it was quiet. Nicely decorated, the rooms were simple and the bed was incredibly comfy though slightly my struggle to get a hot shower. Breakfast was lovely.

“Great stay in Chefchaouen”
Very friendly reception. A bit outside the crowded medina. Easy to feel at home and meet other travelers in the common areas. Helpful staff and interesting conversation. Just check that you know how the ac works - it can get cold at night in Chaouen even though the days get pleasant. Tack!
