Eveyrthing, but especially the view from the balcony and the breakfast that was the best I tried in Morocco. Overall very nice mix of authenticity and everything you may need.

We really liked Dar Rafik. The location is perfect, right at the entrance of the Medina, making it very easy to find. The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good.

Location and staff friendly

Very beautiful and big rooms in a cute riad. Location is perfect for sight seeing and by the entrance of the medina! Breakfast on the nice rooftop terrace with an amazing view towards the mountains and blue houses!!

We had a great stay at Dar Rafik. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with everything freshly prepared and clearly made with a lot of care and love. The location was very convenient, right at the entrance of the Medina. The communication regarding the Check in went well. The staff in general were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. When my daughters got sick from food poisening (from another place) the staff was very caring and supporting, which meant a lot for us.

Rooms were very nice and hosts were friendly and welcoming. Also, they have an amazing breakfast on the rooftop terrace. We'd come again any time.

“Charming Apartment in the Heart of the City”

The accommodation is in an ideal location for exploring the city and is beautifully decorated in a local style. Everything was perfectly clean and well maintained. The arrival arrangements were very easy, and we received help with finding parking. In the morning, we were welcomed on the rooftop terrace with a delicious and varied breakfast.

“Rude, unpleasant, unfriendly checkin!”

This was the worst check-in experience I've ever had, despite traveling frequently. There was no one at the property to check us in. Eventually, some guests arrived who had been instructed by the owner to let us in. Due to a miscommunication, we received keys from a small office downstairs. I was very ill at the time and just happy to get inside. After an hour, a woman finally appeared, and rather than helping, she angrily told us off and was exceptionally rude about the keys. Her behavior was unacceptable and negatively impacted our entire day.

“A wonderful spot”

The location was brilliant, a five minute walk to the square and paid street parking a minute from the hotel. There's very little staff presence with the exception of the lady who did breakfast. Breakfast was good however there were like six bread/pastry items along with an omelet. I'd easily give up a pastry item for a tub of yoghurt. The room was a good size with a little balcony and lovely coloured glass windows. Shower was good. Roof top terrace where breakfast was served was great, overall the hotel decor is lovely.

The room was spacious and we had a tasty and fulfilling breakfast at the rooftop with a beautiful view of the city and the mountains.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were extremely helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable and comfortable. First off, they came to meet us outside the gate where the hotel is located. It's set right at the edge of the medina which makes it foolproof to locate. Parking is right by the hotel and just 2 euro per night. Once inside we were welcomed with Moroccan sweets and tea, over which the manager familiarised us with the city and the hotel. The building has only recently been restored and it's evident a lot of money and thought has gone into the traditional Moroccan decor. They also upgraded us to a larger room free of charge. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. I can't recommend this place enough.
