I stayed one night at Dar El Rio and had a very pleasant experience. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location was convenient and offered a relaxing atmosphere. I particularly appreciated the hospitality and the attention to detail. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would gladly recommend Dar El Rio to other travelers.

“A mixed bag with some positives and annoying negatives!”
(1) LOCATION: Very close to main city square. However in a very tight alleyway with no signboard on the road. Tight stair case and it is likely to be a struggle to move heavy luggage around. (2) BREAKFAST/ FOOD: Freshly cooked eggs with an assortment of vegetables and fruits, bread, mini sweet yum yum, two kind of jams, honey, butter, Morrocan fried bread, yogurt, fresh juice and tea. Doesn’t have a restaurant of its own. However they would assist to order take away from a nearby restaurant. (3) BEDROOM: Comfy extra firm bed mattress, if one liked such mattresses. Spacious bathroom. (4) SERVICE: The man and lady at the reception were helpful

“Wonderful stay at Dar Elrio”
We had a wonderful stay at Dar Elrio, which is warmly run by sister Nada and her brother, Zaki. While parking was a bit of a challenge, the riad itself more than made up for it. We stayed in their smallest room, but it was perfectly good enough for us. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a restful bed and good bathroom facilities. The WiFi throughout the accommodation was also fast and reliable, which was a big plus. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely, and both Nada and Zaki made a real effort to ensure we were well looked after throughout our stay. A special mention must go to Zaki, the strongman of the riad, who kindly helped carry our luggage. Overall, Dar Elrio is a charming and very welcoming place to stay. Highly recommended.

Well suited, staff very friendly and helpful. Parking is a bit complicated but you get help from the hotel and local people. Also great view to the city and mosque.

The most unique room during my stay in Morocco (like a little tree hut), the best breakfast, wonderful staff, all looks newly renovated Note: parking worked well when I was there. Just ask for instructions upfront
