Simple but delicious breakfast in a stunning rooftop location. The whole place has a rustic, but very comfortable feel and the staff were super helpful and friendly.

“Great hospitality and an excellent stay at Casa Perleta”

The host at Casa Perleta was very helpful throughout our stay. Like most riads inside the Blue Medina, it requires a bit of walking to reach (but casa perleta is closer than the most), but the locals were friendly and guided us easily. We had no trouble finding the location. The host also provided clear directions and guidance based on our itinerary, which was very useful. The riad itself was excellent — we especially loved the breakfast. Its location inside the Blue Medina made it very convenient for visiting Ras El Ma and the main square. I definitely recommend this place to others.

You can do much worse than Casa Perleta in Chefchaouen. But can you do better? Hard to say. It is a beautiful, affordable bolt hole for a short stay in this beautiful city. The staff are accommodating and kind. They will look after you and advise you as per your need. Breakfast is a standard Moroccan fair. Rooms are spartan but nice. Can be chilly. Shower was hot. The location is also great - it is not too far from the road and the short walk has no stairs en route. Top tips: Tissemlal (Casa Hassan) Restaurant is a short walk (4 minutes) away. Great place for a dinner. In the day time go and enjoy late lunch in El Cielo - a little gem of greenery in otherwise blue city. Terrace in Casa Perleta is also a nice place to catch a breath. Finally if you don't mind climbing the path opposite to the entrance to this little hotel will take you above the city walls for some great panoramic views of the city.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Perleta. The location is perfect, and our room was clean and comfortable — we truly felt at home. The terrace offers a beautiful view, and the staff do everything they can to make you feel welcome. Just be aware that payment is expected in cash.

“A pearl in the city”

Our room was lovely and comfortable. Had an ornate arch over the bed area. The hotel has lovely furnishings and art. Our bedroom looked onto the street where people queued for the bakery, chatted, laughed and children played. We had dinner when we arrived cooked by the hosts wife. Lovely lemon tagine. Breakfast was lovely. I enjoyed sitting on the roof in the cool mornings. All staff were very lovely and friendly. I felt like I was living in someone's home which made this a great experience. I recommend this Hotel.
