The rooms were super comfortable. The staff were incredible - we had to leave at 6:30am for a bus on our last day, yet they prepared the breakfast early for us so we still had a chance to eat.

“Beautiful authentic and traditional experience with welcoming staff”
The host was easy to communicate with before getting to the property as well as during our stay. There was a host there at all times and were always happy to help eg with recommending place to visit and eat. The medina was about 15 minutes walk downhill. We parked our car on the road where we could see it from our window. The AC was great. It was very beautifully decorated to the traditional Chefchaouene blue vibes. Breakfast was a traditional Moroccan style with breads, eggs, orange juice, mint tea and jams, and homemade butter and cheese. They also had milk and chocolate milkshake for families with kids. The breakfast lounge was very comfortable and traditional Moroccan furniture and decoration made the experience much more enhancing and special. Staff came to make sure we were happy and if we needed anything else.

“Pleasant stay with excellent people.”
The best thing about Casa Familia is its people, they are all so friendly and helpful, will help you organise anything you want and are very eager to please. Genuinely, nothing is too much trouble. The place itself is a nice property with some nice features. It’s a long way uphill from downtown but taxis are easy and VERY cheap.

“Lovely stay, great for people who are self driving”
Lady at the front desk upon check in was very helpful and Whatsapped us a bunch of recommendations. The breakfast staff were also very welcoming, delicious food by Rahma and the man serving was friendly and funny. We could park our hire car on the side street right next to the hotel. We walked into the Medina easily, but as others say, it is quite a walk (coming back up hill might be tough for some). But we needed a place to park our car and enjoyed the walk both in the day and the evening - so Casa Familia worked well for us :)
