“Awful”

Not expensive

This was an unexpected gem in an area that is very pricey!! Hi Coral Cove Bungalows consist of 5 small but spacious bungalows in the middle of some very expensive resorts. All of the bungalows have partial Sea Views with beautiful gardens in front. The area is very quiet and you have access to an amazing private sandy beach and the surroundings are extremely scenic. Do not expect 5-star accommodation, as the price is extremely cost-effective for what you get. There is free Wifi, and an aircon and small bar fridge in every room. The bungalows are right behind (20 meters away) the main Yoga/Meditation Tent of the Vikasa Yoga Re­treat. You can pay 1,500 Baht for unlimited Yoga from Vikasa for a week and enjoy a premium Yoga experience at a fraction of the price of what a retreat will cost you. The owners are extremely friendly and were very helpful with everything. Rent a scooter across the road and you are just 5 minutes away from the beautiful Crystal/Silver Beach, Lamai and Chaweng Beaches.

“❌AVOID AVOID AVOID❌”

The lady on arrival was extremely rude, just laughed in our faces and said she was fully booked and the guests using the room previously had extended there stay so we couldn't check in. She admitted knowing this since earlier that morning, despite having my phone number & messager on booking.com she never let us know prior to arriving. We had been travelling 12hrs and paid 400 Thai Baht for a taxi specifically to her property all to be turned away and to pay another 450 baht to the new accommodation!!! She was extremely unprofessional, no apology, nor help with recommendations for accommodation near by then began to completely ignore/ blank us when we were speaking to her. Plus the property is out of the way from town, plenty more friendlier and better accommodation near the beaches, shops & Restaurants 10 minutes drive down the road!

Booking was cancelled by the property on the arrival day at 9.30 by a message, saying they were fully booked.
