“Gorgeous Bolthole in a Beautiful Location :)”

This apartment is absolutely lovely :), nicer than I expected actually, beautiful oak floor in the main living area, so full of character and everything was spotlessly clean. The location in this gorgeous town couldn’t be better, the view from the windows was stunning, just surrounded by history and stonework. The bed was very comfortable, and I cooked with the utensils and all worked v well for me :). Coffee and tea pods are provided, we’d go back in a heartbeat - thank you!

The heavy radiator wasn’t fixed to the wall it fell on my foot in the night as I was passing it. It damaged my foot causing a lot of pain. I suggest fixing it to the wall.

The owner was most welcoming via his pre arrival messaging. Everything was clean and well laid out inside the spacious, unique apartment. If you like "rustic and character" then this accommodation delivers. The kitchenette met all our needs and there were sufficient eating out options at hand. A tranquil setting with plenty of walking options. We would definitely stay here again.

There was no breakfast included, and we were aware of this. However, it was problematic given that anything nearby was not open. Manu (host) with a friendly, accommodating, especially with storage and retrieval of our bicycles.

Location was great. Studio was exceptionally well done for a conversion.

The location is superv. The tower is magic. 1 of a kind. You will find everything you need in an ancient tower! A dream come true.

The location, unique character

The location in the heart of old Chauvigny is sensational. The host (Manu Gaydon) provided us with all the necessary information to find our way and to get into the room. We felt privileged to stay in such a beautiful place. Don't miss a visit of the church St. Pierre with its impressive Romanesque architecture and capitals. We also strongly recommend the restaurant "St. Pierre et le Loup" (right next door).

As usual, we had a great overnight stay here. Very comfortable and in a marvelous location.

Incredible location in a medieval tower overlooking the old town. This is simple accomodation, but clean and with great cooking facilities. Food is no issue as there's lots of restaurants very close by. We were touring on our electric bikes and the owner Manu, very kindly stored them for us and recharged them. Wonderful place to stop but not recommended for disabled or elderly people as the tower has steep steps.

The studio apartment is a pleasing mix of old and new and scores high on atmosphere and comfort. Located in the heart of the medieval city with views of the historic church from the windows, each time the gentle church bell struck the hour between eight in the morning and ten at night you're sure you're in a special place away from the rush of the modern world.
