I absolutely loved our few days at this tranquil place. Ideally located just 10 minutes from Parc Equestre Federal Lamotte-Beuvron where we were competing. You will need a car as no taxi or uber available at time we stayed. Celine the host made delicious French toast and waffles for breakfast along with yogurt, fruit and croissants. Just delicious.

“Rejuvenating”

Céline et Thierry made out of this property a haven for tranquility, with a lot of attention to details, and great sense of hospitality. Celine breakfast says it all and Thierry passion for perfection stands out in every inch restored on the property. A centuries old property that is best kept by great people. It is my first B&B experience and it is going to be hard to beat. We will be back!!!

Our stay at Le pigonnier was wonderful. We used it as an overnight stop driving from the south of France to Epernay - our only mistake was not staying longer! Our host at La Pigionnier was really lovely & welcoming. The breakfast was amazing & the accommodation very clean & well decorated & maintained. It is extra special to stay somewhere where the hosts so clearly want to look after their guests and are proud of making sure everything at the accommodation is perfect. We hope to return next year and use this as our base to visit some more chateaus in the Loire Valley. Our cheapest but best accommodation by far during our 2 week tour of France. Highly recommended. Only thing to note is that dinner at La Pigionnier is only available on the weekends- but plenty of local options.

“Fantastic overnight stop!”

Stunningly beautiful setting in woodland, a little way from A71, south of Orleans. Hosts were friendly and attentive to our needs, responding quickly to our enquiries. Rooms were well decorated and clean. Bathroom well appointed and spotless with an excellent shower. Clean fluffy towels available. Breakfast in the morning was served under the covered terrace and was absolutely delicious, with a variety of different breakfast foods - including French toast made fresh for us. The hosts had gone out of their way to provide gluten free bread for me. One of the best places we have stayed in France on our travels and would definitely recommend! Le Pigeonnier de la Farge is a little off the beaten track but is well worth the detour.

“Unique luxury stay”

Amazing, unique stay in the middle of nature. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating, you can tell they take pride in what they do. Luxurious pool and setting, comfortable room, delicious dinner (if you're there on one of the days they provide dinner, do yourself a favour and make a reservation - beats any restaurant in the area) and lovely breakfast. They also have mountainbikes available as well as a petanque area.

What a beautiful place, nice people, good food and wines. This old cottage in the middle of the woods has a lot of character and is the perfect place to wind down for a few days.
