“Nice place for a long stay in Loire Valley, close to all places of interest”

Very nice and spacious place. Welcome bottle of wine offered by the property owner. We had a very good and helpful communication with him, thanks a lot, Anthony! Apartment provides all the amenities you will need for a long and pleasant stay. Located under the Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire itself (pictures attached to this review). Apartment is close to all the places of interest in the Loire Valley. We find it easy to visit a plenty of Château's around. And winery’s as well. We had a great stay here. Thanks! :-)

Large apartment, very well equipped and very comfortable bed! Fantastic views over the river Seine. Easy to find and had parking.

“A Brilliant Location and Truly Brilliant Apartment.”

If you are proposing to visit the Loire region, then this apartment could not be better located. It is midway between Tours and Blois, between Vendôme and Loches, right on the banks of the Loire. It is in a magnificently refurbished classic French workshop / house. You enter though the 'garage' and up a flight of stairs. Nothing prepares you for the style and quality of your accommodation. The three rooms are huge. A living / dining area with a glorious view over the river. Watch the apparently nightly hot air balloon trips from across the river. The kitchen with dining area is well equipped and has those little bits and pieces, perhaps left by previous visitors, which you need to get started if you propose to cook. There was a very generous bottle left by the host. The shower room is great. The bedroom, to the rear of the unit, is spacious with a heavily draped velux window to keep out the heat and light of a Loire summer. The host, thoughtfully, provide a large fan. The accommodation has been, I assume, recently renovated and furnished to a very high standard...given the price. Forget the price, this is a bargain. Just enjoy the comfort; the room to stretch out in and relax after an energetic day in the glorious Loire region. We were in constant touch with our host 'though we failed to meet...some people, it seems, have to work. Lots of help was offered so we could maximise our stay. The accommodation and host appear ideally suited to cycle tourists...secure storage in the 'garage'. This place is one of those places you want to stay longer, perhaps, even want to make an offer for. They have done such a brilliant job creating a great series of rooms. I recommend this unconditionally. I would stay again in a shot. It is brilliantly central to almost everything you might want to visit in the heart of the Loire. The village has a number of excellent restaurants for your evening meal. You will enjoy your stay. You will want to return.

“Elegant large apartment in a great location”

This is a very elegant apartment in a great location with very good facilities and a great view over La Loire. The rooms are large and the dining/living room is superb. It was great to be able to store our bikes in the garage downstairs. Anthony our host was very helpful and checked we had everything we needed.

“Clean , modern, comfortable and very convenient.”

The location and parking were both good. There was some noise from the road but only when the window was open. It was spacious, spotlessly clean and very beautifully decorated and furnished. We appreciated the texts from the host and the information about what was happening locally. There were several nice restaurants close by and several of them catered well for a vegetarian.
