“Ideal for a short visit for the chateau and Touraine wine route. Be sure to pre-book restaurants.”
Cheap and cheerful but we knew that when booking. Idiosyncratic decorations were rather overdone but the location was excellent for the Chaumont chateau, garden exhibition and local restaurants.

“Lovely secret hideaway, perfect base for exploring the area”
Lovely little gite in a traditional French village. Private parking for one car in a gated courtyard & a lovely outside seating area. Very quiet & peaceful location The château, village amenities & river are all within a short walk. Also a great base for exploring the Loire Valley. A couple of supermarkets & a vineyard just a 5 minute drive away Elisabeth is a lovely host & even shared her birthday cake with us. Brush up on your French though as she doesn't speak any English, we managed ok & one of her young sons helped out too😊

“A very pleasant short stay to visit the International Garden Show with bars and restaurants close by”
The location is in a hidden courtyard but the instructions to find it were easy to follow. The small but beautifully appointed gite is tucked way with its own private outside area.
