“A Fabulous End to our Road Trip!!😃”

We had booked this accommodation for a 5 night chillout break to end our 3 week road trip- to make a change from the motels, before travelling home to the UK. Although we never met the hosts, communication was excellent- they were very responsive, helpful and friendly. The house itself was very nice, bright and clean and offered everything we needed. The bed was huge, the ac/heaters were the quietest we've ever come across, the shower was roomy with plenty of hot water, it was great to have access to a washer/dryer, the downstairs toilet was useful, the kitchen was well equipped and the living area was very comfortable with a good size TV! The house location, for us, was perfect and considering its location in relation to the road and other properties it was nice and quiet! It is less than 100m from the Incline Railway which you can see going up and down from the living room/kitchen; with supermarkets, shops, restaurants and places of interest within easy walking distance. If we ever returned to the area we would not hesitate to book here again!😃 Property is on the corner in 1st photo/ last on the right in the 2nd photo. Local Info: The 'Incline Railway' was an experience in itself and the views were fantastic! If you take a wander at the top there's 'Point Park' and 'The Battles for Chattanooga', a Civil War attraction. We didn't enter these so cannot comment on them as attractions. We took a walk to the 'Market' on Sunday where there were food and craft items for sale and live music to entertain too. The walk was approximately a 5 mile round trip. It was located just behind the sports stadium. There is a FREE 'St. Elmo Shuttle Bus Service' into the city which we caught from outside 'Mr Ts' (a diner) and it takes around 15 minutes to the South shuttle station.

I will write a list of what I didn't like, it is much shorter. We arrived late at night, the property can be difficult to find, and stating it is the first turning off Old Mountain road would have helped. The welcome pack with a little food could have been better, but since a local fast food shop was close by and open even though it was late, it turned out to be no big deal. The host was always there to help when needed and put up with what turned out to be silly questions from me with polite factual answers and didn't mind at all. Would I return? If ever I go back to the USA on vacation the answer is, yes, I would. Footnote, the Lookout mountain incline train station is only about 200 yards away

Excellent location and everything we needed. Right at the start of the river trails - great for exploring on e-bikes

Great new build home. Very clean. Super comfortable king size mattress, Huge washroom with shower and laundry. Lots of storage. Plates, Towels, blankets all readily available.
