Fabulous location on the beach front. Peaceful and quiet. Spacious room and comfy beds with great bathroom and additional facilities if needed. Very short drive or nice walk to the main street, bars, shops and restaurants.

“Loved our stay at the Hawthorn”
Our room was a great size and had a lovely big comfortable bed. The small kitchen facilities were perfect and very clean. We loved sitting outside looking at the view of the sea.

The Hawthorne was recommended to us by a couple we met the previous evening. The views are amazing with a direct view over the beach to the ocean. The rooms are a good size with large beds. The location is perfect for a short walk into Chatham where there are plenty of nice bars, restaurants and shops. Parking is plentiful and great to leave the car whilst one walks into town. The short walk to the fishing pier is well worth the effort as there's lots of seals to see.

“Fantastic”
The proprietor Sean provided excellent service. We had a problem with a cancelled flight and after contacting the property Sean changed our arrangements and ensured we were well looked after during our stay. The location of the property was ideal, fantastic view out in to the Atlantic and the same time a short walk in the other direction in to Chatham Main Street. On a last note if we ever get a chance to visit the Cape we would look to stay at The Hawthorne for longer.

The Hawthorne was recommended to us by a couple we met the previous evening. The views are amazing with a direct view over the beach to the ocean. The rooms are a good size with large beds. The location is perfect for a short walk into Chatham where there are plenty of nice bars, restaurants and shops. Parking is plentiful and great to leave the car whilst one walks into town. The short walk to the fishing pier is well worth the effort as there's lots of seals to see.
