“Wonderful property for stop en route to UK.”

This is a lovely house , and our host was so accommodating and friendly - our plans had changed , and we were now leaving back to UK at 0700 , but she kindly arranged coffee and fruit for us , even though we said it was fine as we were leaving earlier than expected- it was all delicious. The house is beautifully decorated and we took the recommendation of the restaurant over the river - it was excellent.

We loved the quirkiness of this charming location. Our delightful hostess proudly gave us the history of her house which had once been the priest's home

Host was amazing, lovely, friendly and very accommodating. Room was large with a comfy bed and two sofas, two large fans which kept us lovely and cool, we had a kettle so we could make hot drinks in the room. decor was very chic and unique. We had a lovely breakfast in the garden and Christine kindly gave us home made cake for our travel ahead. Town very quiet on Mondays so bring food in with you if you arrive on this day.

The Maison is indeed charming and Christine is a marvellous host. It is ideally located across the river from the centre and a great stopping place when driving down to Spain or Portugal.

Such a beautiful property and easy to get to. Location was perfect. Walking in makes you feel happy and Christine was more than helpful with everything. Fabulous room and very comfortable sleep. Breakfast was more than enough to start us in another day of traveling.

Christine is the most lovely host and was very welcoming, the breakfast was presented on beautiful china quite a memorable meal. The choice of food was impressive as was the quality.

The house was charming, as per its name. Typically french with an eclectic mix of treasured possessions. Christine was also the perfect hostess. Speaking to us in French or English as we wished - so thoughtful and making us feel so welcome. We had a very restful stay and the breakfast was delicious; fresh fruits, homemade yoghurt and wonderful french bread all made for a great start to the day.

It is a beautiful property. The room was large, very spacious and clean. The room has a bed and a sitting area with facilities for making tea. The hostess is very friendly and offers interesting conversation as she has traveled and lived abroad. We had an excellent breakfast in the morning, especially the freshly prepared rice pudding with fresh fruit and cakes. The area is quiet, and you can park next to the entrance.

It is just beautiful! I have never experienced a home with so much charm, attention to detail and French/Moroccan style and beauty. It is an utter delight in every respect. The owner, who lives in the property, is charming, elegant, kind and attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will return often on my way through France from the UK to my home in Spain.

Excellent location, charming and friendly host. Lovely to stay somewhere a bit different from the average hotel. We had a very good stay indeed. The electric car charger 4 minutes walk at the end of the road was a bonus
