“Excellent stay, lovely hosts, tranquil atmosphere in nature”

“Little price, but little convenience !!!!. I should not recommend this place to anyone.”

Breakfast OK.... but it's impossible to have only one toilet for eight people (without a place to wash your hands !) and only one bathroom for eight people ! No access for disabled people. It is situated at about 12kms from Chatel, and not at all in Chatel, along the road, with a very little place for 4 cars, no possibility to turn to go back.....

The place is a private house located really in the middle of nowhere - which could be a good or a bad thing, depends on what you're looking for, of course :) The great advantage is that when you wake up early in the morning you find a real beauty of pure nature, perfect peace and singing birds - just fantastic. Disadvantage: the place is really far away from the main road (ca.30-40mins), better don't plan to get there after the sunset - the road sometimes is steep, narrow, and not quite properly paved, so be careful while driving your car. The owner was a very nice person, he was waiting for me (I declared that I may arrive around 21-22), and explained all the things. Place is nice and clean.

“Hidden Gem”

A gem hidden in the forrest. Beautifully restored farm house, tastefully decorated, in the middle of wood and farmland. Excellent breakfast, beautiful rooms and friendly and professional manager. A shared kitchen can be used, as well as facilities like a washing machine. Overall the place feels like the home you've always dreamed about. We even came back for two more nights.
