Really lovely and cosy place with incredibly friendly owners. We felt really at home 😊. Plus amazing views of the Cotopaxi volcano, great food in the restaurant and easy booking of excursions in the national park!

Everything. They were extremely accommodating and welcoming helping us to get the most of our experience. The place is very cosy and close to the entrance to the park. Food was good and bug portions. Is a lovely family run place.

Beautiful view over Cotopaxi and the animals as we enjoyed the hearty breakfast. Really welcoming feel and all that we needed for a comfortable one night stay en route.

“A place you can't miss”

The staff, especially Fernando were amazing, friendly and tending to my every needs (especially as I got a gastro) Went in town to fetch some medication. I couldn't be more thrilled to have chosen Rondador during this difficult time of my trip. The view on cotopaxi volcano is amazing and you are surrounded by animals.

The family that manages the hotel is incredibly sweet and available. They shared a lot of culture with us and really took good care of us. The food is very good, so far the best food I hate in Ecuador. The room was small but very cozy, we spent 3 incredible nights there

“Great place!”

Really recommend Rondador Cotopaxi for anyone wanting to enter the national park from the south. The staff are so kind and helpful, especially Fernando, who goes above and beyond to help, including to arrange pick up from the bus stop along the panamerican if needed. You can book trips to the park directly with them, and because of the location, you can get to the volcano early and before the clouds roll in. The food is really good and the rooms are clean, warm and full of fresh flowers.

Very nice host, spoke English well, gave us a nice room, no stairs. Breakfast was great as well.

Wonderful stay with a family run lodging. Our room was very comfortable and clean and we enjoyed delicious freshly prepared meals every day. Activities were also well communicated and arranged last minute.

Very nice hotel at the door of cotopaxi park. Hot shower and great rooms. Ample parking and nice staff

Rondador was like being at home, everyone was kind and welcoming, the hotel is very close to Cotopaxi National Park, and Fernando and Francisco are super helpful in helping you organize your stay. If you have time, it's better to stay here and experience the local culture than to do the day tour from Quito! Thanks for your hospitality.

“Hot chocolate by an open fire.”

This place has a fantastic chalet style feel to it. The open fire at night was beautiful. The restuarantserved fantastic tasty meals. We booked a day tour of Cotopaxi through the hotel and it was fantastic. We booked it knowing it had a detached/shared bathroom setup. Not an issue. The room was small but cozy with a heater to keep warm. Think open fire in chalet with a hot chocolate.

Great location for visiting Cotopaxi and surrounding area. Great views of the mountain. Fernando went above and beyond to make my stay as great as possible, organising bike rides , a trip up to the refuge on Cotopaxi and mountain bike down, as well as a brilliant morning horse riding. He even drove me personally to my bus stop and stayed with me to ensure i got on the right bus. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend staying here.

“Great rustic hotel to discover the stunning national park of Cotopaxi”

This hotel is close to the Cotopaxi national park and just of the Panamericana Norte. I arrived by bus from Quito and Fernando helped me to organise the trip with great instructions how to get from Quito to the hotel by bus (and the same when I went from Cotopaxi by bus to Otavalo). The hotel is comfortable and very cute. It is perfect for discovering the nearby national park. Trips to Cotopaxi volcano can be directly booked here and it makes it a very hustle free experience. breakfast was good and lunch and dinner are served as well. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and I was made felt at home right away.

Fernando, Francisco and the other staff are very friendly. They can help and guide you to make the activities in the Cotopaxi National park. The food at the restaurant is also so good.
