We stayed in room 21 which was immaculately clean and comfortable. The gas fireplace was such a nice added touch. The shower had great hot water but needed to wait awhile for the pipes to warm up. The breakfast and happy hour wine and snacks were delicious and the main house had two cozy seating areas to enjoy while eating.

A step back in time to stay in at the Inn. Lovely! Staff very friendly and accommodating. Having some restaurants within a block of the Inn that you could walk to was great after a long day of driving. Also hiked to the downtown area the next morning, however shops there don't open until quite late in the morning and we had to get on the road. The Monicello plantation we thought well-worth seeing and is only 20 minute drive.

“Mis-sold. Real shame as the Stock”
The Inn was, as far as I could see, lovely. Good location, lovely balcony, great staff and a pretty outdoor space. Cheese and wine in the library at 1700 is a nice touch.

Charlie was exceptional and was great to talk to about things to do in and around the area as well as ideas for our ongoing trip. A really genuine guy. Breakfast was delicious with homemade scones and cakes, granola and fresh fruits. The hotel had a real Southern charm about it. Lovely to sit outside on the porch and read. Car park is always a plus.

“We found this a very charming ,comfortable and characterful inn . A welcome change to chain hotels.”
Breakfast was great , fresh scones and cookies laid out for the day . A lovely library area and while the view was not wonderful the location is excellent being just a minute from the lovely city mall/pedestrianised Main Street. Of special note - the management was warm and friendly .
