Overview
Located on historic Government Hill in the Charlotte Amalie district of Saint Thomas, this bed and breakfast features a freshwater pool with sundeck. The open air market is a 5-minute walk from the Galleon House Hotel. Built in 1852, this bed and breakfast provides each room with cable TV. The air-conditioned rooms are decorated in soft colours and tiled floors. Guests can have a daily home cooked breakfast on the veranda at the Hotel Galleon House. Fort Christian is 500 metres from the bed and breakfast and Cyril E King Airport is a 10-minute drive away. The owner, Pierce was very friendly as were the other workers here. Location was excellent as it was close to shops, restaurants and you can even walk to the ferry terminal. Included breakfast was good enough. Great views from the hotel. Good value for an expensive destination like St Thomas.

“Galleon House”
We loved the location, very handy in Charlotte Amelie for everything and our favourite restaurant The Green House. The pool was gorgeous too. The amount of steps at the property are a killer but saves a gym membership and good if you are counting steps! The Manager, Cider, ran up and down them with our heavy luggage like a mountain goat! She was fantastic, so so helpful and knowledgeable about the best places to visit which were always amazing. The service she provided was superb, couldn't fault her.

“Beautiful hotel right in the center of charlotte Amalie”
The hotel is in the center, with an amazing view , big rooms and beds are very confortable. The pool is very nice and everything is very clean and ordinate. The receptionist is really nice and helpful . I did like the breakfast..enough for what I need in the morning

“Very bad.”
Our bedroom didn't have windows, so, as we wanted another one with, we HAD TO PAY 100$ EXTRA.....a theft! There were water leaks in our bathroom and we had no hot water for showering. To top it all, there wasn´t electricity...A MESS-------

Great location in historic centre. Our room was clean with a balcony overlooking the harbour. They looked after our bags for an hour after check out.

“Great place to stay for people on the budget!”
The surroundings are beautiful it is right in the city center! Cozy place, bit old but very clean and we had a great view from the balcony. Worth the money!

A great bed and breakfast in the middle of the historical center. Up in the hill enough to have a good view without getting exhausted from walking up to it. There are a few steps, but they shouldn't bother you unless you have some condition (no elevator). The pool was taken care of and very deep! Staff would leave you to it, but if you needed them they went above expectations. Would stay here again.
