Nice and fresh rooms Staff was nice and sharply organized an iron board and board in my room before arriving at the hotel and only after left a message 50’ prior. Great service

“Pleasant hotel in a great location for a short stay in beautiful Charleston.”
The location of the Ryder is ideal, very close to great restaurants, bars, shopping and easy walking distance to the beautiful French quarter and the seafront. The Bed was comfy, shower was very good. we had breakfast in the Palm on one morning and the granola, muffin and coffee's were better than expected.

“A hidden gem”
It was a quirky property and from the street you would not have know what to expect. The pool area was popular, the bar at night was also well patronized. The outdoor fire place and lounge area with its beautiful gardens was lovely. Guest rooms were spacious and bathrooms more than adequate.

“Great location & charming hotel”
The Ryder hotel was in a great location, super walkable to all main "attractions" of Charleston. Also loved renting the bikes and riding around the charming neighborhoods. The pool / bar area was really nice to, and we enjoyed getting a drink at the bar and lounging on the daybeds.

“A real treat”
The only negative we experienced when we ordered a nice red wine to our room it came in plastic latte cups which was very strange. I did mention to reception on departure and they seemed quite shocked so doesn’t sound like that it’s a common problem.

“A long weekend in a historic city”
The location and room were great. We walked all the main attractions and the staff were very helpful with ideas for restaurants and cocktails. The pool bar was our favorite nightcap place.

“Stay somewhere else”
Food and drinks were decent. Pool is nice but very crowded. You can't get a lounger unless you walk into the pool at opening time.

Loved everything the cutest hotel I have ever stayed at great food!! We did one night and it was $700 total , it added up fast with paying for valet parking, fees etc your in a great location but your paying top dollar for it
