“Fantastic location, great vibe but not value for money”

Easy to find, location was absolutely excellent -- central but also quiet. Walking distance to all major sights, which is a bonus to explore the city. The hotel vibe is lovely, modern with a period twist, really spot-on. Although expensive, valet parking was well organised and convenient. Comfortable and quiet room, clean and with all expected amenities.

My stay at The Lindy Renaissance in Charleston during August was nothing short of exceptional, making it the highlight of our journey through the southern United States. A particular standout was the innovative car parking app, which streamlined the process of retrieving our vehicle with remarkable ease and efficiency. The hotel’s facilities were equally impressive, with the serene and tranquil pool area providing an idyllic retreat. Bathed in sunlight from sunrise to late afternoon, it was the perfect spot for relaxation and rejuvenation. Ideally situated between King Street and Meeting Street, The Lindy Renaissance offers unparalleled convenience, with premier restaurants, boutique shopping, and the vibrant Charleston City Markets just a short walk away. This prime location enhanced our ability to fully immerse ourselves in the city’s cultural offerings. Our stay was truly memorable, and we are already eagerly planning our return. The Lindy Renaissance is a gem that exemplifies the best of Charleston’s hospitality and charm, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience.

Absolutely loved my stay here, my room was great, I slept really well and it is really well furnished and designed. The check in staff were exceptional at offering me a choice of rooms, I loved the rooftop pool and the lobby is absolutely brilliant. The coffee shop in the lobby is good, great biscuits, though it gets busy! Fab location. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

the location of the hotel, and the guest service from ALL staff was excellent. The hotel facilities where as presented. I would recommend the breakfast to be disconnected from the coffeeshop. This for a better guest experience.T

“Nice place to visit in Historic downtown Charleston”

Our room, 335 opened to the pool. The in room coffee was Starbuck’s brand. The staff was exceedingly helpful and kind, especially the door people. The hotel’s location was ideal for walking to various restaurants and tourist sites. The staff was very responsive and provided extra towels promptly.
