The rooms could do this a little more attention to cleaning. The toilet floor were sticking and there was told and dirt build up on the floor. The door need attention they seem a little open even when closed it made me feel unsafe.

“Refuse to help me”

Due to severe storms and official safety warnings asking everyone to stay home, I was unable to travel to Charleston. I contacted the hotel several times asking for help, a refund, or even a change of dates. Unfortunately, the hotel did absolutely nothing to assist me — no flexibility, no refund, no alternative. Very disappointing customer service, especially given the circumstances.

“Disappointing”

Check-in. We arrived at 3 P.M. and were anxious to checked in as we had other activities planned for that afternoon. 7 people checked in while we waited for our room to be made available. I inadvertently requested a handicap room when booking and didn't know it. At 4 P.M. I asked why we had not yet got our room when others were getting theirs. That is when I learned of my booking mistake and we were given a different room. At 5:30 P.M., we returned to the hotel and settled into our room. That is when we learned that the T.V. wasn't working. My wife was anxious to have a shower and retire early for the evening. We reported the problem and went for a walk - thinking that it would be an easy fix. When we returned (around 6 P.M.) we were advised by the assistant G.M. that he couldn't get the T.V. working and offered us another room. Given the amount of food and luggage that we had unloaded, not to mention that we were exhausted, we choose not to accept it and I was advised that I would get a 25% discount on the room/no parking fees as a result of check-in miscommunication and T.V. failure. When I checked out , the bill was supposed to be $58.99 as advised by the front desk clerk after discount/zero parking fees. I got home to Canada yesterday and discovered that the total charges for the stay were$89.66 (ie. none of the discount/reversals were processed). Unbelievable!!! Now I have to contact Wyndham (of which I have been a loyal member for years) to get this sorted out 3 weeks later.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was abundant also, albeit a bit expensive.

Big room and bathroom, good TV and relatively comfortable bed. Property had a nice view to the marina and was close to two bus stops to get to the centre

“Will not be coming back”

Room wasn’t cleaned our entire stay, we weren’t given clean towels. No fridges in the rooms. Impossible location. We were never refunded our $75 deposit for no reason and my emails regarding this have been ignored.
