“Lovely hotel”

Everything was great. I had a really nice large room and bathroom. Fantastic location on king street surrounded by bars restaurants and shops. Breakfast is brought to your room which was all very efficient. Staff very nice. Easy parking. Hotel reception and hallways etc were all fairly immaculate. A really good hotel.

Older but nice hotel. Great location and parking. Staff quite helpful. Had to checknout a day earlier due to family emergency and staff were very accomodating and supportive.

Ease of location to all the tourists attractions.Easily found from the hwy. Breakfast was very convenient and delicious with ample choices on the menu all delivered to the door at requested time.

We loved that breakfast was delivered to your room. It was great not having to get ready to go get coffee before you are really ready to leave the room. It was a lovely touch.

Location, understated classic. Comfy beds, good quality continental breakfast sent up every morning.

On reflection I would not stay in Charleston, rather I would stay somewhere outside the old Downtown area, where it's cheeper - $18 for a sandwich, and $8 for bad coffee. Drive in, enjoy the historic area, drive out again for some sanity. It's beautiful, charming, and everything I was expecting from Charleston; I loved the architecture and understand why it's such a destination.

Property as well located rooms were exceptionally large, and staff was friendly and informative!

Location

The hotel was in a great location and was clean and comfortable. However, it was sad that at the price, NO BOTTELED WATER was supplied in the room. Only a water station on the second floor was provided. But there was no jar or anything that could be used to go get it. Upon asking why this is, we were told that the two hotels had been using over 1500 bottles of water a day and could not afford to provide such. This is absolutely not acceptable in such an expensive venue. Secondly, there was no way of making coffee or tea in the room because nothing was provided. No water kettle or condiments. We were told we could get coffee during certain times in the lobby. I travel extensively around the world and hardly ever experience a place where such very BASIC services are not provided. It's a shame to say the least!!

Nice room, very comfortable bed, clean and all it needed to be. AC could be switched off, a very big plus. Breakfast served to the room is great, even though this is probably done out of necessity. Could do with a bit stronger coffee in the morning though. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Parking very convenient.

Our check in after a long drive from Canada was quick and efficient with a very helpful and knowledgeable front desk staff. The location was great! We were right in the historic section of Charleston on King Street. We could walk to most of the sites, parks, lovely shops and lots of choices of restaurants in the area. The staff at the Fulton Lane Inn were so helpful and welcoming from the time we entered the Inn until the day we checked out. I would recommend Fulton Lane Inn as a great place to stay while visiting Charleston.

Excellent position in the heart of Charleston, wonderful and really comfortable room and very good breakfast.
