“Superb Service, Relaxing Stay!”

The French Quarter Inn gets it right. From the ready valet, to the seamless check-in & champagne welcome, to the well-appointed rooms and complimentary breakfast ( room service-style if you choose), they have perfected the details of your stay. Bob and the front desk staff were awesomely friendly and informative. Our room and the hotel at-large were extremely clean and in a great location for exploring the Charleston City Market and near-by shops and restaurants. The wine & cheese reception and nightcap cookies and milk were a nice touch as well. The hotel even gifts a deluxe sample of their signature fragrance. The bed was very comfortable, air conditioning was quiet and well-performing...after a few hours of sightseeing, it was very nice to come back to our cool room and see that turndown service had been performed for us, complete with chocolates. I'll definitely stay again when visiting Charleston.

I had written beforehand that our one night stay was a special birthday present for my sister's 70th birthday and my 75th. When we went up to our room there was a beautiful small birthday cake and a bottle of champagne with a welcoming letter from the Manager. This was just one of the high points of staying in this beautiful, personal, hotel. The breakfast was amazing with the highest mountain of smoked salmon, fresh berries and homemade popovers among the selections. A happy hour feast with cheese, charcuterie, fresh and dried fruits, olives and other crudites. And milk, homemade cookies and a glass of port before bedtime. Other family members were staying at a nearby hotel but they were welcomed by staff and encouraged to join us. The knowledgeable concierge booked us into a delightful restaurant on short notice and provided tips to get the most from our only 24 hours in the city. With a pillow menu upon check-in, the best bacon/chili jam I have ever tasted, iced water, lemonade and tea available 24/7, along with fresh fruit and sweets, this is the friendliest and best hotel, more like staying in a large country house with friends. Oh yes, a view overlooking the market and smack dab in the middle of the French Quarter.

Breakfast room service was wonderful. Beautiful high end hotel stay with extras like wine & cheese and milk and cookies. It was luxurious, very tucked away and private in the middle of the bustling town.

It was a good location. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size. I couldn’t find a single fault from booking in to booking out. First class.

Elegant hotel with great atmosphere. Wine and nibbles was a really nice touch, along with coffee or cool drinks throughout the day in the lounge area. Fabulous courtyard area also. It felt very welcoming.

Great location. Worth knowing there is no restaurant in hotel but plenty around. Breakfast is a self service affair with limited choice and you eat it at tables in lobby which is ok. Very nice touch is complimentary wine and cheese each evening which we enjoyed. you pay for it in the rates of course.
