I was able to check in early yet, the smoke detector was beeping. So the front desk staff man came up and removed it. No one ever replaced it. Also, before check out and with the Do not disturb sign on my door, someone kept knocking. Suffering from stomach issues, I wasn’t able to answer the door. All in all, a fine stay in a clean cool room.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the Best Hotel Stays We’ve Ever Had! We stayed 4 nights this past weekend while our daughter played in a softball tournament at Shipyard Park, and this hotel was perfect from start to finish. The Room: Spotless, modern, and so comfortable. The beds were heavenly, the bathroom was sleek and up-to-date, and the thermostat was upgraded so we could easily control the temperature. The shower’s water pressure was amazing—no matter the time of day. The Service: The staff were truly outstanding. Housekeeping was wonderful—on our third morning, they changed our bedding in less than 10 minutes after a crumb incident from my daughter’s bed snacks. They were so friendly and never hesitated to bring extra towels (we showered twice daily for games and dinners). Every interaction with staff felt genuinely warm and helpful. Amenities & Little Touches: The toiletries were high quality—good enough that I didn’t even need to buy my usual travel-sized products (and I have picky, curly hair!). When a tropical storm soaked us at a game, the front desk even gave us free laundry detergent so we could use the guest washer and dryer. The Breakfast & Coffee: The on-site restaurant serves Starbucks drinks—my morning latte, my daughter’s refresher, and my husband’s macchiato were all perfect. The food looked and tasted amazing: huge, fresh fruit; fluffy eggs; crispy bacon; pancakes; and sandwiches. Yes, the prices are a little higher, but the quality made it well worth it. The restaurant staff handled the breakfast rush quickly and kindly. The Location: Couldn’t be better—15–20 minutes from everything in Charleston: Downtown, Daniel Island, beaches, and shopping. Dunkin’ is across the street, and Ulta, CVS, and Raising Cane’s are just blocks away. Final Thoughts: From seamless check-in/out to thoughtful touches and exceptional staff, this hotel truly impressed us.

“The Courtyard Charleston was just what we needed after a busy day of sightseeing.”

This was our first trip to Charleston and the Courtyard Charleston was a great choice for lodging. The rooms were well appointed and spacious. We met Livia T. In the hallway on our first day and she was a delight to talk to. She gave us suggestions on what to see and where to eat. She checked us out on our last day and enrolled us in your rewards program. My sister will be visiting Charleston next month and I will encourage her to stay at your hotel.
