“Very nice”
Everything. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Got the room by the creek and it was very nice. The swimming pool was clean and at the end of a hot day it was comfortably warm. The staffs were nice too. I will be back again.

The room had definitely not been cleaned, there was dirt and hair in every corner, and the bath drain was totally clogged,luckily we had a pack of antibacterial wipes so gave the room a proper clean. We would have moved on but we had had a long drive so put up with it. The manageress Elsa promised to contact Booking.com for a partial refund but have received no notification of that happening.

“Good visit to Charleston”
I got upgraded to the Corner Room with a View to the Creek, very nice. Easy access and parking close to Gasoline stations. Practical to visit Charleston. Friendly Reception

I’ve been a loyal Booking.com user for many years, but this was my first disappointing experience. The room did not match the description (only one bed instead of two), and since we were traveling with an adult child who needed a separate hotel bed, we had to urgently find another hotel after a long trip. Although we were told that a full refund would be issued, the amount returned was about $40 less than what we originally paid. The hotel claimed they agreed to a full refund, but it did not match the actual charge. We not only lost money, but also had to urgently look for another hotel.
