Breakfast was good .Location is excellent. Stayed here before. Waitress very friendly. Second morning was very busy they need to give guests a set time for breakfast as everyone came down at the same time. No tables available for some guests .

“Exvellent Choice”
The location is excellent and easy to walk everywhere. There is parking on site. The room was very comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious!

Excellent, location, beautiful breakfast and georgous property. Very comfortable bed, lovely to have the free snacks to take while out exploring and the free glass of wine in the afternoon. Nice to sit down with some of the other guest and enjoy a wine together. Highly recommend.

“Beautiful old house”
Location was walkable to everywhere we wanted to go, and pretty quiet at night. Breakfast was great, with plenty of cooked to order options. Bed was very comfy, and staff helpful.

“The perfect place to stay in historic Charleston.”
The Barksdale House Inn was beautiful, loved the heritage decor and styling. So glad this is where we chose to stay, it felt very unique and special. It was well located to walk to the Historic area and surrounding restaurants. The breakfast was made to order and they were able to cater to my gluten free requirements. Very welcoming and friendly staff.

“A genuine Southern experience”
If you want Southern hospitality go here. There was a genuine welcome. Rem this isn’t a hotel but a n old house so stairs not lifts. Bedroom was huge. Shower settings a bit problematic but worked it out eventually
