excellent staff, mainly Molly, shuttle driver and rest of front-desk. they really helped me to return to airport in time and in a very comfortable condition. apart from that, excellent premises, room & bed.

I really like Aloft hotels, but this place is definitely not what I expected from the chain… I will return to Aloft because I know this is the exception, but I will not return to this hotel.

what could have been better was answering the phone. I called to be picked up by the shuttle, shuttle never came called again and was put on hold for a long time. I had to take an Uber from the airport to the hotel. probably will still be on hold

The young man running the desk in the evening was awesome.

I was very appreciative of how much was there to do when I arrived. I liked how there was something for me to do nearby, and when I checked in I was able to enjoy the pool in peace. Not sure if there were just not that many people there at the moment, but I enjoyed the solitude. It was also very convenient with how close it was to the Charleston Music Hall while being at the price it was.

No breakfast was included in my stay except for an additional fee of $7 which wasn't explained at the time of the booking.

There was no breakfast or coffee made in the morning. Staff couldn’t get me coffee pack for my room which was only decaf.

So this place was not at all what I had seen advertised on their website. I understand some of it is due to Covid. The first room I checked into I sat down on the bed and was accosted by the springs in the mattress. I immediately arrange to change rooms and the bed it was better. There was no maid service during my two night stay I would’ve appreciated coffee replacement or an offer for towels even if they didn’t want to clean. I was informed there would be A bar and a restaurant available and that was wrong. Although they offered a shuttle service, I could not reach the hotel after attempting for 15 minutes in order to get my shuttle service back to the hotel. I was on a business trip and timing was important they just didn’t answer the phone at all. When I walked in there were three people standing behind the desk. I was surprised that I wasn’t even offered a complementary bottle of water upon arrival or anything that would be considered an amenity…not returning. Disappointed.
