“A great budget place to stay.”

Self contained and comfortable. Good kitchen and bathroom facilities. I would stay again if requiring accomodation in that location.

“Very mixed feelings”
We were welcomed by a lovely lady and the campground looked cozy and clean. Until a group of youngsters came… They claimed the place, changed the kitchen & bathroom into a mess and were loud late last night and early this morning! As a campground owner you either refuse this kind of groups or clean up their mess regularly to ensure some service to other guests. This was the worst experience of our 3 weeks in NZ sofar, a real pitty cause the place has potential if it gets a bit of an uplift, everything feels a bit old & outdated

For a cabin camping site it was great. It all reflects in the price which was good .

Always a great stay at Charleston Holiday Park.Bed is super comfy, has everything needed for night off the road. 3rd stay there and will definitely stop in again next time we're through that way.

It was well priced and, for us, a great location to make a big dent in our first day after landing at Nelson Airport. A good location for visiting Punakaiki (which was about 30 mins south). Think of it as old-style glamping with friendly and helpful staff an excellent communal kitchen at a very attractive cost.

Basic cabin with shared facilities accomodation but price reflected that and was what we were after . Clean and tidy . Owners very good to deal with and if staying around that area would stay again .

“Never coming back, gross”
The room was not cleaned, there were toe nails cupping all over the floor on one side of the bed, not very welcoming staff. Would definitely not return. We are glad we brought our own bedding.
