Lovely staff (all ladies) and historic building. Quiet at night and quite a soft bed for Thailand. Strong ac and good hot water. Surprisingly there was a Smart tv and fast WiFi. Great breakfast although there was a choice of 3 varieties (American Thai or Chinese)

Breakfast was good with a big main dish. My husband had the congee which was full of delicious ingredients. I’ll take that the next time. Sitting quietly by the river with the gigantic raintree with birds swooping around & was quite ethereal. You really go back in time. Walk slowly (espc with socks on, as it’s shoes off policy, which I really liked) as the wooden floors are so well polished.

“Perfect stay by the waterfront”

This is a lovely period property that has been sensitively restored, there’s a lovely seating and breakfast area right by the waterfront and everything for a tourist is in easy walking distance. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was great, and the bed very comfortable too

The location was perfect for exploring the historic area and the river. An excellent renovation of a historic house. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Beautiful historical house renovated into a hotel. The location is great for wandering the local area. With plenty of cafes, restaurants and shopping nearby. The terrace overlooking the river was a lovely space to sit.

Historically interesting yet practical. Highly recommend staying there. Staff super friendly, great breakfast options, beautiful rooms with river view balcony. Close to the cathedral, restaurants and cafes in the same street.

The Inn is steeped in history and has a beautiful outlook over the river. The rooms are special and different. It is well located on an interesting road with close access to the night market etc. The breakfast was exceptional.

Baan Luang Rajamaitri Historic Inn is a nice place to stay. Through the setting in a historic building it has a cosy and warm atmosphere, the employees were all friendly and supportive, rooms clean and comfortable, and parking next door and easy. And the location in old town just next to the river/canal is great, with good restaurants and cafe's nearby. Had with my wife and our friend a lovely weekend stay.

“Beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of the riverside community”

We stayed at the Baan Loang Rajamatri Inn during our honeymoon and it was increadibly nice! Set next to the river in the middle of the Chanthaboon Waterfront Community it is the best place to explore Chanthaburi. The staff was very forthcoming, breakfast was excellent (!!!! -for sure the best we had on the trip) and everything was very well kept and clean. Thanks to the team for making our stay so special!
