Lovely quirky gîte, very comfortable rooms and great facilities. Extremely kind and helpful owner. We arrived on a Sunday when everything in the village was closed and even though we hadn’t booked dinner, he cooked us a delicious meal. Breakfast was great too. We’d definitely go back and would highly recommend it.

A lovely friendly welcome, beautifully appointed rooms with everything you can require. Warm house with comfortable beds. We also had evening meals there for two nights in a beautiful dining room that were both delicious. Manuel was also very informative for places to go and see.

Interesting and quirky accommodation in a quiet, peaceful village. Delicious evening meal cooked and served by host. Plentiful breakfast. Although too cool for us to use on the evening we stayed, the outdoor area and pool looked lovely. Good communication.

The hotel was in a quiet, picturesque town. Emmanuel was a considerate host. Very welcoming. He did a excellent job of accommodating my partner’s dietary requirements even though we only booked on the same day we stayed. My partner is celiac and only eats vegetables and fish. So Emmanuel made lovely potatoes and vegetables for supper and eggs and cheese for breakfast. Also he found some gluten free bread for him. So I rate this place highly. Also the pool is much welcome with this heat wave. Thanks for a great stay.

This hotel was just wonderful. Super countryside travelling to the hotel. Hosts are great people. We relaxed in the garden, beside the pool. Dinner was really nice, very tasty, local produce, and local wine. Our room was very comfortable and so quiet . The hotel is quant, older furniture. If we are anywhere near Chantelle in the future, we will stay here. In fact, I would build my trip to take in staying with Juan and this excellent hotel. It was a great experience. We're looking forward to returning.

Juan cooked us a fabulous evening meal which we ate outside overlooking the pool. Had a lovely swim earlier to cool off after the long drive. Room was really comfortable and we slept well.

This property is stunning! The gentleman explained that it is 300 years old. It had such character and the insides have been renovated to a modern style which compliments the age of the property. I have seen other comments about rude staff, we did not experience this at all. The gentleman that greeted us was very friendly and helpful.

Very quirky 300 year old property with modern conveniences. The proprietor made us and our dog very welcome and evening meal was fabulous. Farm fresh home cooked. Family suite was ideal while travelling with my grandson. Single beds in adjoining room. Nice garden area too.

We had a delightful stay at this characterful guest house, a perfect stopover for us on the way to Italy from UK, absolutely worth a short detour from the motorway. The deceptively spacious house is in a charming little village and has a beautiful garden & pool. The pool was lovely to cool off in after a long day of driving. The host was very accommodating of our young children, giving them inflatables for the pool and checking what they would eat for dinner. The homecooked dinner was delicious & included vegetables from their garden. Our family room was great, with toys for the children, a dividing door between bedrooms and lovely big shower. We didn't have breakfast as wanted to get on the road but grabbed some delicious croissants and other treats from the bakery 2 minutes walk away.
