“Great accommodation, staff, location, really, really first class!”

The apartment was excellent and Stella, the owner, assisted us greatly with check-in and out flexibility, she was absolutely great! Christina kept our room immaculately and was so helpful, friendly and so keen to help us in anyway she could. I thoroughly recommend the room to anyone wanting a great location and super room in Chania, and again, the staff led by Stella could not have been bettered. We have never met a host so accommodating never before in our travels, excellent hospitality. Thank you very much.

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed here and I think that says it all. Stella and her staff are fantastic, always smiling and willing to help. An exceptional place to stay, right in the heart of Chania Old Town. Very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Room service every day and bedding and towels changed every other day. Very comfortable bed and pillows. We will probably book again for next year, loved Shalom and Chania so much.

“A great place to stay in the heart of the old town”

The accommodation is in the bustling Kondolaki Street, but despite the central location, the rooms were nice and quiet. The area is fantastic, just minutes away from waterfront and a with plenty of choice for great places to eat and drink, right on the doorstep. The rooms are very spacious and cleaned daily - with bedding a towels changed every other day. Beach towels were provided on request. Stella and her team were always on hand to help with any questions and guided us in when we initially got a bit lost having arrived from airport. We would definitely return again.

The cleaner was absolutely fantastic, we asked for some beach towels, they said they would be there at 9am and they were, on the dot!

“A gem in the old town”

The location is amazing, right on the city's vibe! The personnel responsible for cleaning was extremely polite and considerate 😊 We have already booked another stay in a month from now!

Gorgeous large room, well equipped and a fabulous walkin shower. Only drawback is the stairs (no lift) and the location in the old town which makes getting there problematic with luggage. Not cheap

“Lovely stay at Shalom”

The rooms are located in one of the nicest streets in Chania Old Town. There are tavernas, shops and a nice cafe for breakfast just outside the front door. We booked the junior suite which was exceptional. Large double bed with really comfortable mattress, a sitting area with settee, another area with a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, with coffee and tea provided. It has a really nice compact bathroom with excellent shower and always plenty of hot water. Everything was very clean and bedding and towels are changed every two days. The air conditioning works well. The crowning glory was the external covered terrace with a settee, two armchairs and coffee table. It is a great place to relax, very private and overlooks the Jewish Synagogue which is a must to visit. Stella and her staff are lovely friendly people. Stella is easily contacted on WhatsApp. She has provided everything that you need for a relaxing stay and we really appreciated the bottle of wine and the lovely gift she gave us when we left. Check-in is easy, we arrived very late so we're given a code for a lock box which contained the keys. We will be recommending Shalom Luxury Rooms to family and friends.
