Desire a chilled relaxing holiday with great food and culture, then this is the perfect location - the views are stunning, the staff are so friendly and customer focused. Sunsets are stunning. The old town is beautiful with regular shuttle bus from the hotel. The hotel is on a steep hill, so taxi is required for early starts Recommend Superior room with Seaview view. Definitely will return

The view from the restaurant/breakfast area over Chania and the nature is breathtaking. The staff are welcoming. Nice to have an option of transfer to the city centre and back.

“Some of the best views of Chania”
Location - great views of Chania from our good size balcony, pool area and restaurant. Swimming pool lovely. Great size. Plenty of loungers and shady areas. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice and good coffee Minibus shuttle service was really appreciated. Helpful staff. Very comfortable beds.

“An excellent week in Chania.”
Very friendly and helpful reception staff, very clean and modern, the best views from the front facing room and restaurant. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and changed daily. The restaurant staff were friendly and the food was nice. The kids loved the pool, the water was cold but it was welcome in the heat, there was plenty of loungers and seating around the pool too. Another great feature was a free shuttle bus to and from the old town, around 10 minutes away, which you book at the reception. We booked an excursion to Elafonisi Beach from the reception, this was€30 euros per person, this made the trip very easy. Excellent hotel, would highly recommend.

“Amazing buffet breakfast, friendly staff, good gym equipment”
Breakfast was awesome. Couldn’t really have been any better. Also great that it went for such a long time so you could have an early or late breakfast. The gym was good, not many gyms have a squat rack and cables. The staff were very friendly.

“My Holiday at Royal Sun Hotel Chania”
Stunning views from the Hotel located on a Hill. Watching the sunset. Clean rooms, rooms cleaned daily with beddings and towels changed daily. Courteous and very helpful reception staff willing to go over and above expectations to provide a service especially Nikolas and Eva.Free shuttle to and from town centre with very polite and experienced drivers. The amazing healthy stray cats. The owner was also helpful with insightful information to explore about the town

“100% satisfied and loved it”
Location was perfect! Quick drive to old town and if you don’t want to drive yourself they do offer a shuttle service to take you there everyday. The breakfast was unbelievable. The chef was always cooking delicious food every morning with different items. View was gorgeous, rooms clean and pristine, staff were so nice and polite. So worth it I would highly highly recommend
