Overview
This traditional settlement is housed in a renovated Venetian building on the western-side of the Old Town of Chania, a few metres from the Old Harbour’s edge. Its rooms feature traditional handmade woodcut furniture, a minibar, air conditioning and TV. Porto Del Colombo Traditional Boutique Hotel is ideally located at the heart of Chania’s Old Town, walking distance to the centre of the new town, the mains shopping streets and the central bus station. “Would be happy to stay again”
Hotel was historic and characterful, individually furnished. Quiet room, comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Very welcoming and friendly owner and staff. Very clear directions about how to access hotel at night. Lovely welcome drink.

“Charming central hotel”
The location is perfect. Very close to restaurants, small shops and port, but in a location with no noise. The hotel is charging, is like going back in time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious.

I loved the service here! The staff are so so lovely and they even organised a breakfast bag for us as we were going to miss breakfast because we had a full day tour planned. They were so attentive and gave us great recommendations. The location was also so central but still private.

“Very welcoming and comfortable.”
The room was excellent, it was huge! Basic but more than enough for a couple of days stay… it was very comfortable. We were on the first floor, the staff were faultless and they made us the most delicious picnic for our day when we went to the Samaria Gorge! It’s so close to the centre/water front but quite all the same. No disturbances from outside.

What a beautiful hotel in a perfect location in the Old Town of Chania. Spacious, comfortable & extremely clean rooms. The super friendly & lovely staff made our stay even more wonderful. Thank you to Roula & Flora, as well as the lovely cleaning lady 🤗 The breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend a stay here when visiting Chania 😍

“Characterful property in a great location”
The hotel is located very close to the Venetian port and the rooms are decorated considering the age and history of the property. All the staff we met were welcome and helpful. We loved the nicely equipped showers and the plentiful breakfast.

“Quiet and peaceful refuge in a charming hotel with gracious staff.”
Wonderful people working at the hotel. Very beautiful, very authentic and yet comfortable environment. Soft beds, cold AC, nice liquor in the room. Antique, well-crafted furniture throughout the room and in the lobby. Books left by visitors on a bookcase one floor above the reception. Breakfast was hearty with strong espresso and unique jams and pastries and fresh bread and meats and salads and fruit and fresh juice. The location also is quite magical. Cobbled walkways wind around, you might find fig trees growing among ruins. Pick them! You can walk to beaches or right into the bustle of the old city.

This place was amazing. Never met as nice staff in the 20 days I've been in greece. They will pack breakfast for you, help you out any way they can. They give you beach towels. The breakfast was fabulous and the room was awesome. I would definitely come back. The bed was super comfy.
