Very comfortable and fully equipped

We liked absolutely everything. I think Kyra Vintage House was the nicest place I have ever stayed in and the family was really kind and helpful. I collect vintage things, so the fact that the house was full of them, and beautifully preserved, was of course a bonus. But it was a beautiful house in a beautiful place, with a lovely terrace we could eat out on, and the rooms were fantastic. There was a really sweet and friendly little grey cat that came to see us, and we left some cat snacks for her in the kitchen cupboard for if she comes to visit you! And the kitchen especially was a 'time warp'. The house had been built by the current owner's father in the 1930s, and I assume the decor was as it had been when he lived in it (the current owner lives downstairs and the apartment we rented is upstairs). The people were also fantastically kind - at one point I suffered a 'medical emergency', and not only did they fetch me a chair and help me recover until I could be helped upstairs, but they also checked my blood pressure too. They also gave us cookies, fresh eggs from their own chickens, oranges (from the orchard) and loquat fruit, there were quite a few very nice beers in the fridge, and they came up to help us late at night when I rather stupidly threw the electrical trip switch by connecting the kettle and the hair dryer to the same extension lead! Really, I can't see how a stay could have been nicer.

“Comfy, old-timey apartment with wonderful hosts”

The property was amazing. The apartment has a comfy old-timey feel. The host was very friendly, even gave us fresh eggs from her chickens. The facilities and the vies were great. It's a bit further from the center for those that don't like walking. Overall would come back and recommend.

It is great place to stay, a bit away from Chania's center conveniently located between Chania and Souda. It has very interesting vintage look inside - you feel like living in a museum. Very spacious and at the same time cozy. The big terrace is great for barbeques and has great view on the surrounding orange garden and nearby mountains. Great hosts - very friendly and helpful.

The owner was very friendly and the place was very near to the airport. The stay was comfortable and very clean.

We had a great time there, the lady ,husband and son Stelios, was so nice, she gave us a ride when we left and cokkies when we arrived, the house very big and nice , The view from huge terasa, amazing on the mountains . We really recomand IT. Hugs from Bucharest!

It was perfect for our needs – we traveled across the island by car, were out most of the time during the days and cooked ourselves some breakfast or dinner few times. Kyra has unique vintage look, is not very far from city center and owners are kind, friendly and accomodating. When we arrived, there were delicious cookies, homemade marmalades, large bottle of olive oil and water cooled in the fridge waiting for us, we even got some reccommendation regarding local restaurants :) If all-inclusive is not your style and you want a climatic base for your Cretean travels – it's just perfect.

“A piece of heaven of earth”

This is the loveliest place I have stayed in all of Greece. A real, spacious old home, with high ceilings, great lighting and beautiful vintage internal design, that has simply everything you need and more. The photos don't do this place justice. Also, the lovely owner, a sweet woman, brought us some fresh eggs, tomatoes and other produce from her garden downstairs. Anything else we needed we could get from the nearby supermarket or the bakery accross the road. The house has a rooftop terrace with a shady vine- perfect to sit and think, paint, suntan or take a quick cooling shower on the rooftop shower and just relax while drying on a sunbed. We could have stayed here forever.

The appartment is very surprising with its vintage look and furniture - very nice - the owners are very nice and offered us juice, fresh water, ice cubes, tomatoes from the garden - they were very attentive and we really appreciated it. Very well located - not far from the center of chania and the beach. the only thing we regretted was the air conditioning as it was quite hot.Apart from that, i highky recommend this place - very good value/price.

Amazing, not only it brings u back in time but the owners are making you feel ilie home I recommend stay here to anyone aspeccialy kids ❤️
