“Extremely quiet, pleasant hotel with very polite service.”

The breakfast selection was very diverse, food was delicious. I would especially highlight the breakfast time, breakfast service ended at 11:30, which was very convenient even for late riser. The hotel offered an early breakfast option if needed or the option to take a packed breakfast with you. The hotel was extremely quiet (there was no disturbing street noise, noise from inside the hotel, or even the disturbing noise caused by the air conditioner, for example). I would like to highlight this in particular, as it is not very usual in Chania. The pool was small, the atmosphere around the pool was quiet, peaceful and pleasant. The hotel was located a little further from the city center, but the city center and the old town were still within walking distance, and on the other side of the hotel, a short walk away, was the sea. There was a historic stone wall behind the hotel room window, which at first glance didn't seem very pleasant to me, but the next morning in the daylight it seemed that this wall actually added privacy to the room, and at the top of the wall there was greenery and the birdsong was heard. After checking out of the hotel, there was an opportunity to leave luggage in the luggage room if there was still time until the flight and there was also the opportunity to use the shower and toilets. I also liked that in addition to traditional snacks, the snack bar offered omelettes and salads, for example, until 11:00 in the evening. The service was extremely polite and pleasant.

“Lovely stay in beautiful Chania”

Great location away from main tourist area but within a 10 min walk to everything. Turn left you can walk to historic centre of town - turn right or straight on for a beautiful walk along the sea looking at all the lovely restaurants along the way. Hotel spotless and seamless check in. Very quiet at night. Comfortable bed and pillows. Small pool but ideal for cooling off. Would stay again when we return as Chania is truly lovely as are the people

“Amazing staff. Amazing Location”

The location was amazing. Short walk and you’re at the beautiful old port and lighthouse. And the reception staff were amazing. Our luggage was left behind by BA and they were our savior. Phoning the airport for us and organizing a taxi for picking it up and dropping us down the coast. Can’t thank them enough.

Location away from the busiest parts of town but within easy walking distance from harbour, shops etc. Only ten monthly from a small sandy beach. Very helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast.

“This is now our favourite hotel in Chania!”

Location was great - close to the centre but away from the tourist dominated part of town. Easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. Staff were very efficient and helpful. The room was a good size, beds comfortable and decor was pleasant. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Enjoyed the choice at breakfast. Pool looked good but we didn’t use it.

We stayed for three nights and had a great experience. The hotel was spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the location couldn’t have been better. P.S. We were welcomed with a bottle of raki, and it was thoughtfully replenished every day during housekeeping

Really good position of the hotel, next to old town and harbour as well as the new part of Chania. Personal was so nice a friendly. Comfy rooms.

It was not the first time I stayed in Kriti hotel. I have been there few years ago and when I made the booking I was wondering how it wouId be this time. Well, it was 10/10 at the time and nothing changed to the worse. On the contrary everything is perfect. Warm welcoming, polite and smiling staff. Clean, rich and fresh breakfast buffet, quality coffee. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very clean, as all the hotel too. All in all ...looking forward for my next stay there.

The location is good — away from the busy atmosphere of the Old Venetian Harbour, but just a short walk from the central area. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Alexander from the bar was as well. The breakfast was good, and the pool was very quiet and pleasant.

The breakfast was excellent and very tasty, great value for money, and the location near Koum Kapi was fantastic. It was quiet, the staff were super helpful, and the hotel was incredibly clean.

The proximity to Chania town but also the Archeological Museum. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds extremely comfortable.

Great breakfast. Clean and comfortable room. Good shower. All in all a very good option for those wanting to use a pool and have chania old town within 10 minutes walking distance. To be finicky, it would be great to have had a bar close to the pool or, at least, the option of calling someone when beverages are required. Pool towels are collected from reception by the way.

Staff is super nice, all of them. They let me check in early because the room was ready and stored my luggage for some hours after checkout, thanks again for that. Comfortable bed, okay sized room and bathroom, bathroom a bit dated, but functional. Breakfast gets a bit boring after a few days, very little variation. Pool area was nice, plenty of loungers and bean bag chairs. Balcony out towards the street, was a bit dusty from the street, but it had evening/afternoon sun, perfect for me. Clean and basic, just what I needed.
