The location was fabulous, right near the swimming point, 1 minute walk away, and very near everything else too. The welcome when we arrived was wonderful. We enjoyed the raki and dinner.

Exceptional position with a welcome to remember. A very friendly snack , and an introduction to the Filoxenia and to Raki. The lovely lady who booked us in and served us, went out of her way with suggestions for activities and sites to see and have us a map of the local area. Always a Kalimera , a kalispera , a te kanis - happy days.

The location of the hotel is super strategic and close to the harbour by walking distance passing along the sea cost. You have plenty of choice for bars and restaurants just down the stairs with a very nice view over the sea. Even if very central not much noise at night so this is a plus!

Perfect location for town and beach, parking nearby and a short walk to bars and restaurants. Our room was very clean with a side view of the sea and breakfast in the nearby Kriti Hotel was perfect. Thank you for our stay and a shout out to the hard working cleaning lady who was a pleasure to talk to.

It's an older style hotel run by 2 lovely people. The location is excellent and the breakfast is fantastic. The owner makes you feel very welcome and is very helpful.

“Good budget hotel - better than most”

This hotel really exceeded my expectations. The owner phoned a few times prior to my arrival to ensure everything was set for my stay. When I arrived, he gave me a nice drink (I forgot the name) and some fish fillet. Despite being a relatively small building, there was an elevator so it was easy to take my luggage up and down. The owner was very helpful in suggesting activities, and how to get around. I didn't even have to ask - he gave me a map with some directions straight away. Everyone seemed friendly and helpful. Now let's get to the room. It was a very decent size. For the type of hotel it was - the room was bigger than I anticipated. I even had a balcony and could see the sea from where I was. The shower although small, was still bigger than the ones in other hotels. Cleaning was good. There was a washing line outside so I could dry clothes if needed. Also table and chairs outside if I wanted to sit out there. Balcony a decent size too. Excellent location - close enough to Chania old town, and about a minute or two away from the marina. The hotel offers breakfast for 10 Euro. I didn't take it but it is cheaper than most other places in the area. Competitive rates too compared to others in the area.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is excellent – right in the Old Town, but not in the noisy, crowded areas, which made it peaceful yet very convenient. The room was comfortable, had air conditioning, and actually looked even better in person than in the photos. We also really enjoyed the pleasant view from the balcony. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, always available for anything we needed. The room was cleaned every day, which we really appreciated. Overall, we highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

“Nice spot a few steps away from the centre”

We booked 4 rooms for our family/friends for 1 transfer night only to catch an early flight home. We checked in after 7pm and very welcoming and attentive staff surprised us with wonderful snack which we did not expect. The rooms were simple, a bit outdated but clean, each had a balcony in the street and an AC. Our bed was very comfortable. Parking was a bit challenging at about 7pm, but at a later hour we could park the car right under the hotel. The proximity of the centre/ restaurants is unbeatable.
