Our hostess went above and beyond, treating us to fresh fruit every day, homemade kalitsounia, traditional cookies, and cake. The warmth and generosity shown throughout our stay were unforgettable. “A little gem in the heart of the old town.”

This beautiful little hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the old town within a group of narrow pedestrian streets. It is only a short walk from the Venetian harbour and lots of lovely little restaurants and bars. However, the street itself is quiet. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly friendly and they could not do enough to ensure our stay was perfect. Thank you especially to the lovely Maria who made us feel so welcome.

Everything about the experience with Harismari was exceptional. It’s a cute and small place in the most beautiful part of Chania’s old town, also calm and quiet by night. You can walk everywhere easily. Stella, Maria and Katerina were all really nice and helpful, they provided recommendations for restaurants, cafes, beaches. We were welcomed very warmly by Stella as if we are part of the family. My wife had a birthday, they made her a small surprise with wine. Overall hospitality was great, more than we expected. We would definitely recommend visiting and consider coming back again!

Our stay at Harismari Cozy Hotel was absolutely perfect! The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, and their hospitality made us feel right at home from the very beginning. They also have been very helpful in every situation and their kindness goes far beyond the ordinary. Also everything was spotless, and the whole place was beautifully maintained. I often hesitate to leave a 10/10 review, but it is not difficult to do so in the case of Harismari Hotel. After a long day of travelling, we were greeted with warmth, smiles and sweets (!), and the attentiveness and alacrity of spirit of all the staff we encountered continued throughout our stay. The rooms are clean and spacious, with little details that elevate the experience - from fresh bottles of water in the fridge, daily restocking of coffee and tea, and we even received small gifts on our last night! The location is also perfect, as the hotel is just a few minutes stroll from the harbour, excellent restaurants and the main attractions of Chania Old Town. This is genuinely one of the best places we have ever stayed in, and we cannot wait to come back!

I rarely leave reviews, but this place really deserves one. From the moment we arrived, the host took the time to give us great recommendations for restaurants and beaches. A sweet older lady welcomed us with a drink and some homemade treats, which was a really nice touch. The room was cleaned every day to a very high standard—like we were checking in for the first time each time we came back. We were also pleasantly surprised with extra snacks, water, and fresh fruit during our stay. The location is excellent, right in the center with plenty of great restaurants nearby. If I could give a higher rating, I would.

Lovely small friendly hotel Staff really welcoming and helpful on places to visit and eat. Let me store my luggage there on the last day as my flight wasn’t until the evening. Clean room. Felt very safe there as a lone traveller.

I booked this hotel on behalf of my parents and they could not have been more satisfied by the experience. They were moved by Kiria Maria’s extremely warm and interpersonal approach, going beyond what is expected of Greek hospitality. They were greeted daily with a smile, a sweet treat and some great recommendations; and returned every night to a very clean rand comfortable room. All this to say if you’re visiting Chania and want to feel at home this is the place, not to mention it’s right in the center of town.
