Perfect location. Large living space with plenty of areas to relax. Terrace was wonderful. Kitchen set up really well with everything you could need.

“Fantastic stay”

Great hosts, very communicative, helpful and friendly. We was met at the property for an early check in and shown around. The location is fantastic, only a few minutes from the old town with many shops and tavernas around. The apartment has everything you need and is really clean and comfy. Amazing shower, the water pressure is really good and it stays hot.

The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and located right in the city center. Despite its central location, both the apartment and the terrace are quiet and peaceful, which made our stay especially enjoyable. Access to the apartment is via a steep staircase. Carrying our luggage was not a problem for us, but it is something worth noting, especially for people with limited mobility. The welcome was very warm and pleasant. The apartment is fully equipped with everything needed for a longer stay, including a complete kitchen, washing machine, iron, and more. It is also very convenient that the apartment includes a parking space in a garage. The garage is not located right next to the apartment, but is about a 10-minute walk away. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place!

Casa Grande 1926 was the absolutely perfect place for our stay in Chania. The location is superb, right by the Old Town and harbour, surrounded by shops and restaurants. The apartment is spacious and modern, equipped with everything you need and with the most wonderful and peaceful terrace. Excellent facilities, super fast wifi, comfortable beds, great hosts and a truly lovely place to stay.

Grande Casa was an exceptional place to stay. It was very spacious and comfortable for our 4 adults in the group. It was very well equipped throughout and the host (Stefanos) and his representative (Despina) were very warm, welcoming and extremely receptive and attentive to our queries. We would definitely recommend and stay here again when next visiting Chania.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location was excellent — very central, just a short walk to the market, restaurants, cafes, the port, and all the shops. The apartment itself had high ceilings and a great sense of space, with a lovely terrace overlooking the inner courtyard, which we found very relaxing. Other than that, everything was wonderful. We truly appreciate Despina, who made our stay easier, and the owner Stefanos for their hospitality. The thoughtful little gift they left for us was very meaningful. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Chania, Crete.

“Family of 4 adults enjoying Chania”

Nestled amongst the high street shops and cafés, this beautiful flat is at the gates of the old town of Chania. And yet it is very quiet at any time of the day.. The comfort level for my wife and I plus 2 adult children exceeded our expectations in every way. There was air conditioning throughout the flat and a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine in the bathroom. The flat has a big balcony with sun beds and a dining table, and faces the Venetian Walls that you can almost reach out to touch! The host provided plenty of written recommendations for what to do and where to eat in Chania.

Great location. Central nearby supermarket and central bus depot. On edge of old town. Lots of coffee shops and easy walk to harbour and beach. Terrace is large and sunny and totally private.

“A Hidden Gem in the Center of Chania”

We stayed at Casa Grande 1926 for a weekend in April 2025 as a group of five. The apartment is right in the heart of Old Town Chania — the location is unbeatable. Although it’s on a lively street, the apartment is very quiet, allowing for a peaceful stay. Everything you might need is nearby: bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, and shops. Access to the apartment involves opening a main door and climbing a few stairs — not a problem, but good to know in advance. The apartment itself is very modern, bright, and even nicer than the photos suggest. It has two bedrooms: one with a comfortable double bed and large wardrobe, and another with two separate single beds. For a fifth guest, there’s a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. The living room also has two additional sofas, so the space stays open and comfortable during the day. There’s a large dining table, a TV (please note: no Netflix), and high ceilings that create a spacious feel. The fully equipped kitchen includes a big fridge and a set of stools for casual dining. One of the highlights is the beautiful veranda, featuring a large table, two sunbeds, and a second, smaller bathroom — all very modern and well maintained. The apartment includes a free parking spot in a nearby parking lot, just a 7-minute walk away — a big plus considering the central location. We were warmly welcomed by a lady who manages the property on behalf of the owner. Both she and the owner stayed in touch throughout our stay and were incredibly helpful. We even received small welcome and farewell gifts, which was a lovely touch. An extra set of keys and beach towels were also provided. Overall, a fantastic stay — highly recommended!

Everything! Location is perfect,, right in the heart of the town, but surprisingly it is very quiet when you are in the apartment and the beautiful balcony. Beautifully decorated and renovated, it has every possible comfort you can possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable we slept so well. Our host was very responsive and accommodating. We loved our stay so much, we are definitely going to return and don't hesitate to recommend it to everyone

This is an amazing property with excellent, modern facilities. Perfectly located on the edge of the Old Town, everything you need is right at your doorstep. You would not want to be anywhere else but here. Stefanos and his team were most helpful and very generous. We will definitely be staying here when we visit Chania again. Absolutely loved it!

The Grande Casa is a beautiful apartment, very clean and with all the necessary facilities avaliable. The location is very convenient as it is close to the city centre and right in front of the bus station. The house is very quiet with a large amazing balcony. We could not recommend this house more. The owner Stefanos and his friend Despotina were incredibly hospitable and helpful throughout our stay.

It was absolutely wonderful in every way. The location is right in the heart of Chania but the apartment is very peaceful and quiet. The terrace is private and amazing to sit out early morning and evening with coffee or wine. Air conditioning was excellent much needed in the heat. I think Stephanos thought of everything you could possibly need and was so helpful in every way. Communication was amazing Despoina too was fantastic. Recommended restaurants were excellent we tried a few and loved the food. If you're looking for perfection this is it. I was a bit concerned about the stairs as there are quite a few but we managed them and it was worth it.

We met Despoina who gave us a review of the apartment and keys. The location is awesome. The gathering spaces were perfect in the apartment & on the large balcony. Parking is included. We felt like we were in the middle of it all and yet, safe and relaxed.
