Overview
Located on the scenic Theotokopoulou Street, in Chania, Palazzo Hotel is housed in an old mansion just 50 metres from the sea. It offers traditional rooms with wooden floors and ceilings, and has a furnished rooftop terrace. Palazzo rooms are air conditioned and offer views over Theotokopoulou Street or the old town. They come with a satellite TV, minibar and safety box. All units also have a living area and a private bathroom, while some also have a balcony. Guests can start their day with a continental breakfast including fresh fruits, yogurt, cakes, marmalades and honey. Room service is also available. Within 300 metres, guests can reach the centre of Chania featuring many taverns, bars and cafes. The Venetian Port is at 150 metres. Free public parking is available at Talo Square, located 50 metres away.

“Great stay in a nice location.”
Breakfast was good. Hotel receptionists were very helpful and friendly. The location was a bit noisy as our room was above a slightly busy street but this wasn't too bad and the street was very pleasant with shops and restaurants. The Elia chain organise tours and we went on one - just the two of use as no one else had booked - and it was great! The hotel is away from the very busy waterfront area but is only a few minutes away, so is very well situated.

“Amazing Central Location”
Amazing central location, seconds from the bars, restaurants, tavernas and artisan shops, and the old Venetian harbour & lighthouse. Clean and spacious room in a beautifully restored building on a historical street. Excellent selection for breakfast. Great base from which to explore Chania and the surrounding areas.

Midnight check in - not a problem. Received check in details 24 hrs before we arrived. Very easy system. Absolutely no complaints. Would stay here again.

Everything! Location in old town on a charming street. Staff are amazing. Cooked breakfast in the dining nook was delish. Room is well appointed and very comfortable. Even had a little balcony with a view 10/10 - will stay here again.

“Wonderful Old Chania street, fabulous helpful staff”
The breakfast was fresh, ample and varied. This is important as you have to spend around €40 each day (per couple) plus make the hike to the harbour just to get fed. The staff were excellent. Endlessly helpful, unfailingly friendly, very knowledgeable about the area, Chania, Crete and Greece generally. But also staffing the front door for huge numbers of hours. This really adds to your holiday experience unlike distance Air BnB and some Stayz.VRBO and similar platforms. Nothing is too much trouble and they try to help with anything.
