The ethos of the hostel was very nicely expressed in signs around the kitchen area, for example - that encouraged awareness of others and sociability.

The size of the room to accommodate 6 people was not big enough which caused a strong sense of body odour due to lack of oxygen in space… people making too much noise in room at night…

Excellent location, so handy for bus from airport and to other towns, very close to Old Town and harbour, great supermarkets, bakeries, cafes nearby. Walk to the beach. Great facilities always being cleaned, these great kitchens, numerous bathrooms, fantastic outdoor space with cool pool, sun and shade. Quiet indoor spaces plus areas to socialise if you wish. Info on tours and help at reception to book. I really liked our breakfast options (summer only). Room for 4 was a good size and easy to get privacy as needed. Strong WiFi. Calm environment.

The hostel is very amazing! Super social and it has all you need for a budget stay. I liked the kitchen and the bed in the new building have been comfortable. The old building I didn’t like as much. But the new rooms are spacious and nice. I would always stay there again. The stuff was also very nice - liked them all.

This hostel is really clean. I saw cleaners almost all the time. The common areas were spotless. I loved the location and the people I met, too. And it's located around 10 minutes walk to the old town, so really convenient location. I was in a 6-female shared room. Value for money, you can't expect any better than this. I highly recommend it.

I only had one night in Chania on my way home, and it seemed more convenient to stay in a hostel since many places preferred multiple night stays. And this hostel was a perfect choice. Well run, with modern facilities, and not far from the old town and bus station.

Good facilities, good beds. Keycard system is very handy.
