The location was perfect, right in the entrance of the Old Town, making it easy to explore everything on foot. The host was incredibly helpful and provided a detailed guide with recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. His suggestions were spot on and greatly enhanced our stay.

Incredible location in old town, we were in the superior suite with sea view and I can’t recommend enough! Tons of bars/restaurants on your doorstep, check-in was easy with great communication and they helped with our airport transfer on arrival. The building is beautiful, incredibly clean, and renovated to a very high standard, you feel close to the busyness of old town but secure and comfortable in the apartment. Stavros was always on hand for great tips, recommendations, and some friendly chat! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Chania and will definitely be back!

I stayed for two weeks at Casa Veneta and truly felt at home from the very first day. Stavros is an outstanding host — always kind, helpful, and available for any questions. His recommendations for places to visit, restaurants, and local spots were always excellent and made my stay even more enjoyable. The housekeeping team was also incredibly warm and friendly, and everything was kept perfectly clean throughout my entire stay. The location in the heart of Chania’s old town is absolutely perfect — charming, authentic, and within walking distance of everything. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and unforgettable experience. I felt comfortable and welcome during the whole two weeks. I can highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Chania and would gladly stay here again. Thank you Stavros.

“A beautiful stay in the old town.”

The location was excellent. It is inside the beautiful old city but it was not right in the middle of the touristy spot so it was quiet and relaxing. The owner was friendly and interesting to talk to.

We loved staying at Stavros’ beautiful house. The location was perfect with a view of the sea from the balcony. The room was plenty spacious for 3 of us, very clean and with an excellent shower. There was even a carafe of raki and filter coffee in the fridge. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting Stavros and enjoyed his excellent recommendations for sightseeing and food, and his reminiscing of earlier days in Chania.

“Lovely location and accomodation”

We loved this apartment and its location in beautiful Theotokopoulou Street. The balcony has lovely views of the sea and up the lovely historic street. The bed was large and comfortable. The apartment was quiet and we slept well. It was very clean. It is very well placed to explore Chania and walk to the beach .We really enjoyed meeting Stavros and hearing about his childhood and the history of the house and street. Stavros shared a lot of information before arrival which was really helpful. Check in and check out was easy and we were kept well informed before arrival Thank you

“Clean, comfortable, great hosts!”

Our room had the sea view, on the top floor of the hotel. The hotel was a beautiful old style building which had been renovated and was very clean. Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed in 3 hotels over the course of our trip through Greece, and this was the best one we stayed at for our budget! Also Stravos was very kind, he sent me plenty of details about the city through WhatsApp, such as reccomendations on where to eat, different beaches we could drive to and assisted us with whatever we asked, such as finding free parking down the street near the hotel. He even took us for a walk through old town Chania when we first arrived to show us around!

The room was very clean and comfortable, making our stay really enjoyable. The location is perfect, close to the old town, the harbour, and plenty of shops. The host was fantastic and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.

The owner was very kind to give us a short but interesting history of area and recommendation for restaurants. It was like coming back own home, privacy was respected. Location is amazing, it is so close to the harbor but quiet street. Room is very clean and spacious. I appreciated coffee and coffee machine in the room. (Wine glasses are nice although we did not use them.) Also, he was good with communicating with us.

Excellent location in the old town - the port is just around the corner with beautiful views. The sea is at the end of the street. Hot showers, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. Two beautiful sea and beach walks on your doorstep. Very helpful staff.

“Sophistication in the Old Town”

Great location on an ancient Venetian street. The room was spacious, comfortable and cleverly laid out, with a balcony to watch the world below go by We were made very welcome by Stavros who supplied all the information we needed about sights and eating out We found parking around the corner without difficulty

Great location on the old town, so picturesque and with lovely relaxed vibe. Nice cafes and restaurants within easy reach.

“Excellent location, wonderful and responsive host for a local experience in the old town”

Stavros the host was such a delight! Upon arrival, he texted to check if we checked in alright. He also provided a bunch of local tips, and was very responsive towards any questions I have via WhatsApp - recommended restaurants, local marts... and he shared with me about Sardine Day! (It's a day the locals grill sardines and give it out for free along the beach) The room was very clean, and was well equipped. There was even a little free bottle of Raki :) While Casa Veneta is in the old town, it is located more towards the edge of the old town, so it isn't as noisy at night... But you still get the convenience of being walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in the old town.

We stayed in a large room on the first floor, with a double bed, a sofa, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The location was amazing, on a lovely street close to the sea.
