“Great place in the historical Chania!”

Fantastic location, right in the old town of Chania. Wonderful rooftop veranda with amazing views across the harbour and the town, beautifully shaded so could be used all hours of the day. Mr Dimos was very welcoming and gave us great recommendations for lovely restaurants and the Carventures team who organised our Samaria Gorge trip.

Our stay at Casa Sabbionara was exceptional! Dimos was the perfect host and the house is amazing. Every little accessory is of very good taste and it has everything you need. We were grateful for the air conditioning on every floor as it was quite hot. The house is close to everything but still very quiet.

“Already miss Chania!”

Spacious house! Very comfortable bed. I always have trouble with my lower back but really had good night sleep everyday at Casa Sabbionara. Dimos was very kind and helpful. Very clean and mordern property but still felt plenty of the Greek vibe! . Great location with nice restaurants and cafes within 5mins. The rooftop has a fantastic view and I had a beautiful and pieceful nap in the afternoon.:-)

Fabulous location. Right round the corner from the harbour,so peaceful! Dimos is a caring and attentive host, we felt welcomed to his house and were very comfortable. We ate in a different restaurant most nights and were walking distance to shopping and tour pick ups. Must give special mention to the shower!

The house is really well located, very close to the port and old town but it is still quiet. The house is very typical with 4 stairs, very well decorated. The double bed was great. We were welcomed with lots of advises + lots of small attentions from our guest (fruits, water, soda, wine etc). The house is well equipped and the 'terrasse' is juste great. We really enjoyed!

“Beautiful home in Chania Old Harbour gave us the best memories”

The location was so helpful because it was near so many great restaurants and shops. The home was beautifully decorated and the views from the balcony were awesome. We especially loved our host, Dimos, who gave us the best suggestions for food and shops and I was super happy that he told me the exact church to visit for the Easter ceremony and fireworks. I was able to share this info with other visitors and were ecstatic to witness this special event.

“Beautifully renovated traditional house”

We like the location - just a short walk to the port and old town but the house is hidden in a back street and it was quiet, still feel as if we are staying in a local neighbourhood and private. The renovated traditional house was very clean, tastefully decorated with a beautiful roof terrace with sea view for chilling out. Dimos was a very friendly and welcoming host, who took good care of us and provide tips for parking. We would come back next time when we are in Chania again. We personally enjoy the stairs - it is part of the experience with this type of traditional house, the house is tall and narrow and it gave a feeling of being in a space where it is quiant, elegant and classic.

We had a fantastic at this lovely house. Dimos was a wonderful host and the property has an amazing location close to the old harbour and lots of great restaurants. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Chania.
